Previous Day :: Next Dayzagg: they should give me their vespa
...and their house ;D Al Fadelici: I lived one Block off Eastern Pkwy, at the corner of Bedford Ave. We sat on the benchers on many of the summer Nights,I Lived Opposite the Lincoln & Savoy Theaters. There was a Night Club at the Corner of Eastern & Bedford. I loved it then & still... groovehouse: Ian, I really could use your help in keeping Houston in the 5th spot in the browse by city category on the top left sidebar!! Post a few pics, eh? urbanghost: wow, that's a great coincidence. ian: It does. A shame the rest of the city doesn't live up to the standard. ian: Photographing police in the US is a public right. colavitos ghost: nice how they tell you right in the name of the place that you're in for a hygeienic experience. Andrew Smith: Thanks Catherine & Peter.
It was a bright February day and, amid the scenery, it was good to be reminded that industrial heritage doesn't belong solely to the cities. groovehouse: back of my remote

Peter: uh-oh, i spotted a spoiler-ific celica... these things are proliferating:
Peter: a botface tossed out amongst the box-rubbish:
Peter: the mountains look lovely; particularly in the last photo. groovehouse: Thank you Chris, I have to agree... Chris Erb: That's exactly what I was thinking. kathleen: i'm not sure if you are trying to be funny. My mom was born nearby there, lisnaskea, that is. Is it really that sad??
I am looking for anyone who knows about Traanish Island, My grandmother may have come from there, is that possible are you anywhere near there??... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: These are very lovely photos. I always enjoy a nice walk in the country. Thanks. Chris Erb: I've always thought Houston has one of the nicest skylines in the world. grange: we have free roming deaf people here. But we make our blind people golf only at night. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Nice to have a place to hang your coat before chipping it (and kittens). Catherine Penfold-Waxman: The bulimia society? Peter: heh, jeeff! Peter: cool! i like the fisheye effect. Peter: i have a soft spot in my heart for towers. nice. Cameo: soaked yes... but 10" in 10 minutes??? That would have washed the city away. Environment Canada reported 29.0mm of precip.
"Never let your stories suffer for lack of imagination!" GUS BRENNAN:
walter, ralph, and nora,by Derwent, in the lake district, can`t name the three old dogs in their charge. for anyone who knows this area, the hills in the background are the "Cats Bells"
GUS BRENNAN:
this is a blast from the past, one of bar`licks old pop groups from the early sixties, Cliff Stocker, ????, Geoff whiteoak, and Kenny Ranson,
Cliff is still going strong, with his band "Slack Alice". Geoff was working for wharfdale brewery, last time i saw him, and Kenny, is still updating... bklynite: I'm not far from the 'hurst and while I was happy, I have my reserves about certain players on the Italy team.
Materazzi : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ch75wkjMEU jeeff: funny you mention that. i was at a street festival in toronto on the weekend, in line for a can of soda behind a pair of cops. one ordered a virgin pina colada (they were only selling non-alcoholic drinks, mixed and otherwise). "my water bottle has vodka in... LR: A small detail, but it's not a Haitian restaurant, actually, it's Ivory Coast food. And man, is it good.
I'm writing a review of Yre's chicken this week in XPress. I'll be sure to mention what's going on with the re-zoning, and tell people to get in touch with the city... joey: that cops gatoraide bottle is probably filled with sloe gin jeeff: and another question is: how many cats?
(www.azcentral.com/offbeat/articl . . . 03kitty-chipper03-ON.html) zagg: I love hunchbacks.
Dave, again: PS: Starr St. is where one buys crack nowadays? In my father's time, it's where kids would buy freshly-baked soft pretzels to resell on the street for comic book/eggcream/Spaldeen money. What a revoltin' development! zagg: Thanks Peter, my aim is to have the Top City list look like this:
New York, NY (508)
Brooklyn, NY (459)
Toronto, ON (453)
London, UK (250)
Sarnia, ON (anything higher than Houston or Montreal)
:D (ha-ha).
The site is great as always, the few changes are excellent.
Indeed, indeed Zagg is back after almost 2 years of... Peter: zagg, im glad you returned. i always liked your posts! Dave (a Bushwick native): I see it more as a class war than a race war. I'm from the last generation (born mid-1960s) of German-Americans from the Ridgewood/Bushwick area before the Great Exodus of the 1970s. If I claimed that the blacks and Ricans drove "my people" out, that would be just as moronic... Previous Day :: Next Day |
