Previous Day :: Next Dayelaine: i don't know, but my feeling is that they wouldn't bother eating it if there wasn't something good in it for them.
i also slather bird seed in bacon fat when i am done grilling.
happy little birdies!
and i'm not even a brunette! elaine: more pics please! will: nice photos - i too feel like it's far too long since i was in glasgow. the shot with the uni in is gorgeous. and i like the suckmy... graffiti stencil - it's a mick-take of mylo's destroyrock&roll album cover which he stencilled all over the city around... uzi mob: rewd and kars where up like woah when i went to dallas for nye. big ups to www.dallaspolice.com will: nice - i love glasgow and its tenements. yes the weather is usually that drab but the people more than make up for it for the most part. with govan apparently due for a revamp who knows what this bit of town will look like in a few... Hobart: The windows are bricked over because that's where their equipment and cold-storage is, I would imagine. The walls have been retro-fitted with insulation and are too thick and utilitarian in their current role to hold windows.
Captain Kirk's Wikipedia entry indicates that he is, in fact, from Iowa, perhaps a town... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I'd like to see more Iowa. Looks pretty. Do you know why the windows on the ground floor are bricked up?
Isn't Captain Kirk from Iowa? Catherine Penfold-Waxman: If only we could reboot...sigh...
May I recommend "In the beginning there was the command line" by Neal Stephenson. And then read everything else by him 'cos it's good for robots and humans alike. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Busted! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: The Berlin Wall of bus shelters. Freeeeedddooooommmmmmm. ram51@japan.com:
hello ian i hope you forgive me...that i made a collage of one of your nicely done
photos...to be honest sometimes i,m workin so fast that i forget about where and when i collect image sources for collage style... i usually work with lots of collage style compositions...it was
my mistake...i also... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Bacon rind is the offering of true love. I wonder how much nutrition is in dog shit? (It's ok, I'm dome eating) Hobart: Nice photos. Aside from the language on the signs, these photos could just as easily be of Paris, New York or London. I wouldn't mind seeing more from Tokyo. Flipsider: well i guess the whites are now considered minorities in Bushwick ! I jus recently moved from Da Wick 2 upstate new york, bushwick is not really that bad of a place compared 2 brownsville or flatbush or bedstuy. It was easy growing up there, it has its hot spots... hobart: There is a certain beauty in the repetition of the mundane. elaine: imprisoned! Peter: i think they moved this bus shelter in order to give that building room to do its thing... elaine: is that for barbie dolls? elaine: whoo! saucy! Peter: a robot building disrobing:
elaine: them's good un's.
hey, how come i am a robot and jamie isn't? elaine: erm, sorry about that.
magpies do, however, pack their little beaks when the opportunity arises, and retch it back up again in their secret hidey holes. also, don't read this if you are still eating ...they eat dog shit.
i have one that comes to eat at the diner on my kitchen... anon (66-142-253-80.ded.swbell.net): free soler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Peter: ian:
Peter: this robot gobbles up power-cables like spaghetti:
two snoozing, grinning robots:
Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I'm not sure how you knew that I was reading this and eating split pea soup, but the 'retching up their booty' nearly made me do the same.
It is nice to have such a good view of our little feathered puking friends. elaine: starlings sit inside there tweeping. also sometimes magpies stand around on the roof, and scratch around in the guttering retching up their booty elaine: oh! is that what it is?
now everything makes so much more sense!
elaine, bendress
Peter: no, you dont have feelings because youre a robot! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: You mean Harry Knackers... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Nice view of Santa tubes. elaine: ::weeps::
just because i am mean doesn't mean i don't have feelings elaine:
Jamie: i wonder how many times you would have to watch the chronicles of narnia in order to re-embroider the whole theater/theatre/cinema/auditorium. at least thrice i'd wager. Jamie: like i say... Jamie: i wish i had a dentist to be scared of Peter: i was in for a cleaning. no cavities! (whew!) elaine: i am going to the dentist tomorrow. i am frightened elaine: bah and humbug
these are bottle blondes by the way, real blondes are pretty and clever, and very very bad tempered... elaine: yeah, and you could do it during films. from here it looks like you could unpick and reembroider the logo just in parts. you may manage a few seats per film elaine: lissen, i'm only blonde remember..
grrr.
bah and humbug Peter: ultimate highbrow graffiti... gold embroidery in public! Peter: i miss nakahara. Peter: yeah i always love those water towers... they remind me of hopper paintings...
i snapped this shot while on the way to my dentist on 57th street. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: This skyscraper reminds me of this pictures of the Chrysler building. Jamie: hey don't pick on me. elaine started it. barry: Jamie you are very hard on anyone that can't spell to good. barry: Wow it looks cool back ther peter. Jamie: go back. unpick. re-embroider. elaine: shame! Peter: i wish! i think they say "pavilion" on them... the name of the theater. elaine: did you sign 'peter' on all the seats in gold thread? Peter: heh. Jamie: i see Peter: to take photos. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Glorious pictures and a great dialogue, thanks. I'd love to visit (and retire some replicants or become a ghost in the machine) elaine: oh yeah, i see that. he also seems to be american Jamie: i always like to see the citrus themed seating in nyc subway cars Jamie: why were you there? Jamie: mine can't spell 'of' properly though. it's recursive misspelling. when will it end? elaine: yours is at least eloquent enough to rhyme, mine can't even spell 'off' properly Jamie: how eloquent. also this:
Jamie: it's very fear and loathng in las vegas to my mind elaine: and i like that there is an arrow directing us to where the nothingness may be found elaine: or the power of zen ;-D Jamie: Amazing photos and i particularly like the ones of Shinjuku's Yasukuni Dori. It's like London's Picadilly Circus or New York's Times Square to the power of ten. Amazing. ian: I tried to get away with something similar, a sleeping guy on the train, but it wasn't possible with my D70 :P ian: I'm pretty sure this is one of my photos :) vannoonan: Donegal on the water is quite beautiful. And I met a number of cool people there. Previous Day :: Next Day |
