Hobart: The windows are bricked over because that's where their equipment and cold-storage is, I would imagine. The walls have been retro-fitted with insulation and are too thick and utilitarian in their current role to hold windows. Captain Kirk's Wikipedia entry indicates that he is, in fact, from , perhaps a town...

in response to John\'s Grocery

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I'd like to see more Iowa. Looks pretty. Do you know why the windows on the ground floor are bricked up? Isn't Captain Kirk from Iowa?

in response to John\'s Grocery

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: If only we could reboot...sigh... May I recommend "In the beginning there was the command line" by Neal Stephenson. And then read everything else by him 'cos it's good for robots and humans alike.

Flipsider: well i guess the whites are now considered minorities in Bushwick ! I jus recently moved from Da Wick 2 upstate new york, bushwick is not really that bad of a place compared 2 brownsville or flatbush or bedstuy. It was easy growing up there, it has its hot spots...
