In Snowcrash (Neal Stephenson) it's possible to cross a continent by driving through Mall parking lots. jeeff: thanks lurker & peter! i wanted to focus on somewhere besides america because i thought it would be more interesting if the story wasn't america-centric. i like the variety of land masses in the mediterranean area, and africa is forecast to be the most quickly urbanizing part of...
