Peter: here in nyc, when you put out a dead refrigerator to be taken away with the trash, theres a law that requires you to remove the doors; apparently, back in the days when fridges had latching doors, kids would get trapped inside while playing in old trash fridges, ergo the... Peter: woah! there was an elevator similar to that at my old office... whenever i was riding it alone, i would scrape my keys across it to make a rhythm, sort of like a metal guiro... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: The inside of the elevator at Staten Island University Hospital North. The whole inside is covered in it. It makes your eyes bug out.
Peter: the repeating patterns remind me a little of the building in this entry...
