Previous Day :: Next DayCatherine Penfold-Waxman: Kato, (Mum, actually) it's funny 'cos these carts do look like they were taped together each morning. It's very thin, pressed aluminium and plastic. I always wonder why the guy inside doesn’t come crashing out the bottom. Some of the more sophisticated carts have cooking facilities where you can get... Kon: i want a hundered of those! Kon: ...brilliant. More to come soon, i hope. Kon: ...that is seriously messed up. i understand it offers maximum window exposure to patients, but still...the architects that designed that could have made it going counter-clockwise, at the least.
Anyways, awesome find. Kon: ...snapping a board wrong could really suck right there. annlaiza : got that rite i wish i culd destroy it once it's a piece of fuckin junk anon (164.116.193.227): cocaine sucks! noone should ever use it!! ANONOMOUS: DOES ANY ONE KNOW OR REMEMBER A BLOND, FAIR HAIRED GUY NAMED STEVEN STRUCKER FROM THAMES STREET? HE'D BE ABOUT 50 NOW. CURRENTLY LIVING FURTHER UP IN RIDGEWOOD. I NEED HELP FINDING HIM, WE GOT UNSETTLED BUSINESS. THANKS TMA1955: ANNA,

WE OWNED THE NEIGHBORHOODS, THE SHOPS AND BUSINESSES,THOSE DAYS WENT OUT IN... Charles: This is tokyo I know and the picture I mad but couldnt made that nice... Shibya 109, streets by night its just missing kids playing basball in empty streets by night;) thanks Peace maker : England has the best music in all good types of music period: Rock: Pop: Progressive rock: Drum and base: Techno: Dance: to be fare the USA is probable the second best produces of music!
In WW2 the Americans where reluctant to join the wining team even thought Hitler was... bronx representative: i rep bronx all day every day GGP: ooh, boy. not sure i remember. over in prospect heights somewhere, a few months back, actually. perhaps on washington? ian: Of course this photo is real. I don't even like photoshop.
There are some extremely ghetto, broken up old parking lots -- basically just stripes laid on top of demolished building foundations. The east side of the CBD isn't exactly beautiful or modern.
And, yeah, he fell on his ass, rolling around... Peter: heleporsche!
ive seen that! where did you catch this one? GGP: here's one for ya, Peter.
onan: this is the best high school Peter: ...and its against the law to drink coffee on the train now! hahaha. Peter: hahaha. thats not a tunnel, its newark penn station. you know, a building. a train station. and if you lost your virginity there, im sure you got the clap or something along with it. the station is skanky! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: If only Nelson was still alive, you'd have all four dogs on the truck. Tell Coco if she can get to the Mexico border, I can sneak her across. Kato: Is Blue Peter involved here? Looks like egg boxes and the fabulous sticky backed plastic, with no sharp scissors in evidence. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: This guy is great, very personable. Whenever I catch his eye, I give him a wave. I don't often pick up coffee on the way to work as I tend to drop boiling liquids in my lap, especially if I have an audience. Also, I drink the dreaded decaf, and... aj: this is not funny Kato: Mulah is traumatised, she thinks one of the dogs looks like her. Coco is puzzled about the rubbish, she's been learning American (still looking for her bus ticket) and thought it was trash or garbage. Kato wants to drive it. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: It's a great camera. I carry it (almost) everywhere. Tamia: yea i dunno but this tunnel is where i lost my viginity. I also sucked Dick and did everything in the book. If you know watz up holla at me. My name is Tamia and I was born in Nj but now i'm older, stronger and... elaine: yeah, no problem x elaine: there's one at bethnal green station now. we have got quite posh

elaine: heh - i got the same camera as you - i wanted to buy it in amerrricer because it is called elf there but here it is called ixus (and costs more, natch - grr) Jamie: having worked on a burger bar, not dissimilar to this for about a year, i can tell you that it can get very lonely. Your regulars are often the only thing keep you going. And i must admit to giving unoffical discounts to people who raised my spirits. People like... tripesix.com: if yall see some sic triple six its not me...... Peter: awesome! classic nyc coffee cart... i used to go to the same one every day when i worked on the upper east side. i always chatted with the lonely old woman who worked the cart. after about a year, she started having my coffee already waiting for me when i... Peter: wonder what theyre building there? housing? Jamie: reflection number one you ask? why it's here (again, first photo) Jamie: haa but barry will never achieve the unique perspective of my photos. unless he breaks into flat 2 that is. i don't condone this. i like also how in barry's photos the white building with the blue doors is gone. neatly sliced from it's adjoining stone built warehouse to make... Peter: im really enjoying seeing the contrasts of jamie's and barry's photos. keep at it when you can- that sort of thing fascinates me!
also: nice citroen... Peter: hahaha nice entry! thanks cat!
i love the cherried out garbage rigs like these. some of em take customization to a while new level (or a whole new level of tackiness as it were), especially the ones that have names like "Big Bertha" or "R.I.P. Papi" or something similar airbrushed across... papi chulo: 187 on tyler pewee aj ricky d mike n erick esa hurt me amor so im goi to bust a cap in da headz of em all tre-dawg: mayne fucK ya cKrab ass hoe ima go ta red lob^sta and have me some snow cKrab tonight 5 poppin 6 droppin cKrab killin till ma cKrucifixtion nigga ma og macK alive so he gonna stomp on ya too Jamie: don't worry about it. it's normal. it's designed that way to scale photos down to fit into the columns, so when you upload something tiny such as this it stretches it instead. No biggie. groovehouse: yeah, it's 80x15 on this page, but when it was displayed on the citynoise home page it was HUGE! Peter: it looks 80x15 to me :) thanks man!! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: My Cannon PowerShot S400 Digital Elph looks cute, though. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Where was reflection #1? Catherine Penfold-Waxman: You know, I even ran it through spellcheck, dammit. I hate Word.
Cat or Catherine, please. Cathy is the name of a floozy barmaid on EastEnders. It gives me the willies. jack: cathy, two p's. Jamie: i also notice we have a penfold-waxman-reflection #2 in this post (top image) Jamie: i think they're selling themselves short calling themselves the rubbish removal company. jack: elaine you and catherine should get one of these so you can go anywhere and everyone will get out of your way. you can park anywhere, do anything, run over people like in gta. so jump in your truck and run over to the breakfast vendor and get... jack: the driver keeps that truck clean. groovehouse: OH NO!! the button's not supposed to be that big! Hmmm... looks like the coding enlarges images on the home page. Button should be small, like 80 x 15 pixels. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: The first picture is exquisite. The man's body echoes the dancer perfectly. Such street elegance. And the coffee-drinking kilt-wearer is a treat, too. Hool, I want to be your aprentice. Alex: I was born and raised in HP. I lived there for 27 years, around Spaulding. The area is not the same anymore, that is obvious. Everything changes with time, that's another obvious. People just have to accept change. No matter how much People want it... Jamie: heh, you might sympathise with JJ. Read: I'm Too Old For Skateboarding :-) Jamie:
cross street 2002 style Jamie: nice shots. they contrast well with my photos of the same part of lisnaskea taken back in 2002. Good to see the redevelopment that was always talked about. and i'd totally forgotten about the robot building at the end of the street! wuzzy: I did years of gymnastics as a child and teenager and I've missed it ever since I gave up. My body just won't let me do it anymore. I went out to do parkour the other night along Brighton (UK) beachfront and it was amazing. It's the only activity i've... Jamie: elaine: you have redressed the cosmic balance, and for that we thank you. elaine:
this is what he looks like now, having been to the dentists...
i did post it before here in peter's 'menacing building' - which had the grr taken out of him a bit by having a tall robotfaced nurseybuilding accompanying him (to his ward, to be given his medication). but it... jack: i thought i saw him in a deli on kings highway in brooklyn. he made great matzoh balls jack: buffalo droppings jack: this guy likes to scare girls or else it is a girl trying to scare some guys. jack: fergusons bakery is two hundred years old and the horse and cart would leave the bakery to deliver the breads to customers. so there it is the new and the old. what a story the bricks can tell. jack: a slim girl in dance and a fat guy drinks a diet soda,
a shadow as skinny as he and a phone in disorder.
pushing a child past photos of ghosts,
a man in a dress with a coffee to toast,
and a musseled dog on a leash cant stand the pink store,
'cause prayers... Anna : Question: My husband and I purchased a house out in Bushwick for investment purposes, do you think we will have a problem geeting tenants? I have screen the area it appers safe. jeeff: the thing that sets tokyo apart from others is its sheer size and density. tokyo's population density is 3x higher than new york city. any one of these photos shows only a tiny bit of the city's full size. i think it's something you can't quite grasp...
