Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Fantastic photos! I hope you had a telephoto lens or had fed these raptors bits of wildebeast before you attempted the shot. pic 5 is my mother-in-law too, does that mean Jack and I are related?

in response to Raptors

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: do you think the cat wrote it?

in response to Ghost

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: It's all about the angles. I walk around Manhattan snapping mental pictures. And when I can't take it any more, out comes the camera and I start taking real ones. New York is just so photogenic, even when it's an ugly scene.

in response to Snow on Third Ave

anon (localhost): Also, what about Cornelia St. in that same general area?

in response to My House in Bushwick

jack: you are really good guy

in response to Raptors

anon (localhost): yeah, does anyone have info. about Decatur and the Wilson stop? I've seen new condos online on that street. They look to be about 8 blocks or so north of Bushwick Ave.

in response to Raptors

Jon Dominguez: To get back to the shooting of the kid that started this thread, has anyone ever wondered what this country would be like, especially its crime rate and its welfare budget, if all hispanic people were thrown out/disposed of overnight? And how all these despising people would live, back in...

in response to Humboldt Park

in response to Col1610 and Col1611

jack: the fourth picture, is that a small scale of that thing in scotland or is it ireland or around that area somewhere that has those big rocks leaning up against each other, it seems that this is easier to do than the other one but who did the other one...

in response to Adler, 12th St. Beach and the Former Meigs Field

Derek Jackson: Wow! Reading all this misspelled babble about being proud of being hispanic, about fighting the whites trying to take what's yours, and about complaining about gang violence is making me half-laugh, half-get pissed off. Homboldt Park was once a nice place to live... when it was devoid of hispanics. By the...

in response to Humboldt Park

jack: nice western touch

in response to In They Natural Habits

jack: i had to see this again and comment on the angles and corners of the buildings, the different colors, the look of the majesty of manhattan. almost looks like a lego setup. i loved this pic.

in response to Snow on Third Ave

ZailDark: Very cool, my grandfather lives just around there so I've been to all of those places. It's cool seeing it all again, the last time I was tehre was a few years ago so I didn't have a good camera at the time. Nice to see, brings back memorys.

in response to 45 Minutes in Verdun

Cay: My son just moved to Bushwick. Sharing space on Hart St. I'm nervous since he's a white man from New England. Anybody have any survival tips?

in response to My House in Bushwick

wyoming: I'm in wyoming, my mother was born in brooklyn in 1926, and lived at 312 Jefferson in Bushwick until about 1935. She attended P.S. 123. My grandfather had a shoe repair shop near the corner of Starr and Knickerbocker. I would very much like to visit this...

procyon: Maybe it's just the radiator next to my desk, but I think it's the tropical colors on the wall behind her: the first thing I thought when I saw these pictures was "It looks much too hot for her to be comfortable in that jacket."
