en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ley_Lines
handy hint, jack, go to google, type in define: then whatever you want defined...
bermondsey is south of the river. londonists are often scared of things south of the river, unless they are from there... partly because of the olde legende - you can't get a taxi to go south of... joey: maebe's feet. standing her ground.
Jamie: Bermondsey joey: doth - you probably meant to type, both jack: does howard hughes live there, who knows? probably someone's toilet isn't working and he had all those bottles anyway. jack: ha ha, but i did make a typo on my true story on the lands end. did anyone find it? elaine, im writing a story on my grandfather and my daughter said it would be better for me to write short stories and post them to see what... GGP:
taken today. jack: break down the word bermondsey for me, where does it come from, is it a foul word, slang or curse, is it like 'creepers' or 'my gosh' nice writing enjoyable, i guess hellmouth is the entrance for the dead but you got me with 'leylines'. jack: i was just there on tuesday but the schoolyard did not look as good as it does in your photo. i took a girl to the sunset park pool back in 1959 and it was a rough area at that time. BASICK POFM: When a person holds a can they feel power without strength, power without words, but power in art. From the legendary artist BASICK himself Art Is WAR! Fight the POWER! 2bs2ts@comcast.net: I guess I felt the need to wite more about the bird that I wrote about previously. I... jack: the old williamsburg bank. i went there many times in the fifties with my aunt. as i pass thru the highways around brooklyn i often see that tower and realize it may now be a protected structure under the building codes of the city. i think it... jack: he felt the tingle in his stomach continue on for a few days until he started to notice the bulge growing. no, im not talking about a beer belly or a guy getting fatter, im talking about a growth. he knew this was not a sickness, it was... 2bs2ts@comcast.net: My neighbor has a blue fronted almost a year old. i dont remember being particularly angry on that day, what makes you say that? Cyberia: Being the bibliophile I am I'm dying to know what book it was... EvilGentleman: 29 - Idiots who try to pass you at the last possible second before they turn
30 - Other idiots who try to make extra lanes where they do not exist, either passing in the middle of two lanes or on the shoulder.
31 - the fools who endanger everyone's lives weaving... colavito's ghost: the other night, after a long night of drinking i was walking home with a buddy. we saw on the curb a colt 45 box full of 40s. i assumed they were all empty and awaiting trash pick-up.
out of stupidity and drunkenness i reached my hand in the... colavito's ghost: for a second, when i read jack's post, i, thinking he'd made a typo, read "i wish i could crave like that." as it turns out, he actually typed correctly, "i wish i could carve like that."
the moral of this story is that i'm really looking forward... colavito's ghost: i just moved to brooklyn and i'm already in love with the view of that damn tower. let me just say that you don't have to be a long-time brooklyn resident to hate the idea of the ratner development.
