It was larger than I had ever seen it before and it appeared tilted like it is in your photos... Elicar: RBC just renovated their lobby and part of its facade. There was a joke going around. They were trying to recover the gold in the windows! jeeff: qsdl - thanks for the info, i never knew. jeeff: i worked for the cn tower when i first moved to toronto. we had to learn facts about the various buildings downtown so we could tell stories to the tourists. i'm not sure how well-known it is, but the gold colour of the royal bank building is actually... barry: Jeeff I never seen this before myself.I no it is not a eclipse as I seen the same thing there in december an the two photos above are in february on a second trip there. The photo below was in Dec whan I did think I got a photo of a... Laura : I love that second one. What an amazing shot. EvilGentleman: Awww, darn! I was hoping to see a pic taken on the moon. And just out of curiosity, why are all these people wearing sweaters in Hawaii? Must be thin-skinned...
All that aside, neat pic. Would love to hear an explanation. EvilGentleman: Thanks, all. I just wish I could have gotten there before all the media attention had been generated. As far as I know, that is the first derailment on that bridge since it was built 121 years ago in 1885 (it was mostly rebuilt in 1913) Since that bridge was... jeeff: i've never seen a moon like that - is there an eclipse going on? i like seeing the people watching in the 2nd photo. it establishes a human narrative. jeeff: wow, the patterns made by the bent branches are wild. i can see how they would lend themselves to a witchdoctor's hut. i really like reading the background history of these places as well. it gives the photos an added dimension.
ps. don't get too upset at the... -> mace 2 : yo whether its legla or not its so fun to paint, i think being good at both and getting up with diffent forms of graf is the best way. So however you express your art is up to you........... - the toy smashin MACE 2.... elaine: here, the uk, the thing people always say about swans is 'they could break your arm'. why, specifically this, i have no idea. i have never ever met anyone who had their arm broken by a swan, or even heard of a named individual. however, they are big strong wild... Glossy starling elaine: no. it's completely creepy. elaine: god, the colour of that petrolly bird. and what a glaring gleam in his eye. Guy McLaren: Yup I do. and happily too. barry: Guy loving all the photos from africa.Do you still live there? Jamie: John i agree with you 100 per cent, an do so as a british person of english origin. And true, Northern Ireland is not the most extreme place on earth, but it's certainly the most extreme and interesting place I've lived so far, and i don't think you could argue... Jamie: Is it just me that thinks it's slightly not ok to describe a baby as sexy? Jamie: Damn peter you're good. Hah, what are you the location police? Best friendly Jamie: Jeepers! Now this is what citynoise is all about. Nice one Guy McLaren: No steve they are wild and dangerous. Guy McLaren: Colavito, The dominant western idea is a load of crap, Look beyond your tightly focussed and mindless concepts. Even an igloo is architecture. Guy McLaren: In my world Architecture denotes a building, designed built and implemented. Whether the design is of mental origin or on huge big blue prints, it remains architecture, for Jeeff, I will post some pics of the inside in a bit. Guy McLaren: When I was a kid I saw the aftermath of two steam engines that hit each other head on. elaine: liver is good as well as cheap. it's got iron in it as well.

Then tenderize with good 'shine (xxxxx or better) for 120 minutes. For added flavor, leave fur on" EvilGentleman: Hmmmm, jeeff... Official greeters? I think that would work better with drunk people greeting you EvilGentleman: Oh... So it is. I feel foolish now... Hmmm, you think Homeland Security would make a fuss over an innocent game of tic-tac-toe played with a couple of paintball guns on the side of a federal building in New York? EvilGentleman: Spitzbergen, wow! I have always wanted to see that part of the north. Awesome. Beautiful, too. Oh, and Jamie, jeeff: Possibly North North North North York? EvilGentleman: I just consulted Google Earth to confirm what I had suspected: Reyjavik is at 64 degrees 8 minutes north, the exact same latitude as Coral Harbour, Nunavut, where I lived for six years. I can definitely confirm that sunsets at that latitude are long. In fact, during the last week... EvilGentleman: Wow, takes me 2 1/2 days to notice an almost-instant response. Sorry about that. It's a good subject for a photo, although a bit distant in this one. Of course, I fully realize the homeless usually consider being photographed to be the same as being put in a zoo, and...
