The General Motors Corporation has ordered a two-week shutdown of its North Tarrytown plant beginning next Monday and 4,600 employees will be laid off.
The shutdown, first announced on Feb. 2, was canceled a day later and now has been reinstated.... grange: Killing natural wild life ? We have that up here with the coyotes.Farmers hunting them for the same reason . I guess when it comes to protecting farm animals farmers are not the shepards of natural world .Seems the simplest solution for them is blast away .

Sorry , just letting my mind run on for a bit . grange: is the building in the sun set casa loma ? dominick: the italian neighborhoods are always the safest such as bensonhurst and dyker heights. Ive never had a problem in either. Jeff: Chicago is one of the best maybe even the best place a person could be it is so pretty and beautiful I hope i can live there when i am done with college in the next 2yrs. The skyline is out of this world! Jeff: singapore is the busiest sea port in the world and i say its one of the prettiest and from what i hear cleanest cities in the world. Its a great place Jeff: The freedom tower will be so cool when it is completed i can't wait to see it soon, I love the New York city Area it rocks Kevon: Eric: 22nd Aug 2006: the detroit pics are realy nice and most of the pics are too except for that loser who thinks 4 buildings means albany deserves a pic. My personal favorites are Sydney and Montreal, beautiful orange pic on that look-out. And all u Toronto losers. Nobody in... Jeff: These bridges are beautiful my favorits are the brooklyn,manhattan,george washington or (the G.W.)and the verazino narrows or simply put the narrows bridge. New York City is my faverit place to be and i plan on liveing there someday sooon! Dr.mike: raccoons are cute but dangores and I should know Im an animal care expert at a vet clinic. Jeff: New York City is the gretest city and place a person could be the skyline is #1 along with chicago, and hong kong and there are more things to see and do there than anywhere else and i have been to all 50 states except alaska and hawii the twin... Jeff: That is absoultly amazeing Tokyo is one of prettiest cities on the planet and i belive its the biggest with 34 million people i am considering going to tokyo next sring to study abroad since i am an urban planning student and personally i just love to look at and... Jeff: I'll be in Hong Kong, China all next spring for study abroad and i can't wait to see the cities skyline up close in person its absoultly beautiful I could sit back and stare at it forever! Jeff: The New York City area is the best place there is and I am determined to live there soon after I get out of college which should be in 2yrs. I don't love New York, I'm in love with New York City and the surrounding area. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I have another "establishing shot" to explain this one that I'll post. Jeff: Houston is a great place to live and be I have relitives there and i might someday live there myself BUT New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco have a slight edge over it. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Is that what the ground hog said? I'm seriously looking forward to spring this year. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Fallout shelter!!! At my primary school in a small village in England, they would run us through emergency procedures in the above ground reenforced huts that they used during WW2. Sadly, I knew enough that atom bombs were worse than V2's and you probably wouldn't even get a chance... Jeff: Beutiful you go birdie Jeff: I happen to be an urban planning student at the university that i attend and i have to say that Hong Kong is out of this world and is definantly near or at the top and I will be headed there next sring for study abroad but New York City...
