in response to Buildings in Mourning

Scott: Just moved to Bushwick 2 years ago, very white, and a supposed part of this so-called "gentrification." I, and the other "white people" that live in my building all moved here for two reasons. 1) We need cheap rent because we are either students, artists, and/or don't make...

in response to I\'ve lived in Bushwick for just about fifteen years

stacey: groovie

little ukraine: awesome. the 'house of batman' makes me think of a bar i went to in barcelona called the 'hook bar,' themed after the classic (well, classic for kids my age, anyway) robin williams-dustin hoffman film. it was a ridiculous bar, needless to say.

in response to Handphone Dec 04 2006

little ukraine: i've been waiting for the past week for CN to be back up so I could say this: beautiful!!

in response to Blue Snow

jack: i second that, the ancient moon and ancient machinery, sort of father and son of days gone by.

in response to Post Industrial

in response to Sane Smith: Puttin' the Green in Greenpoint

aer suzuki: nice set, especially numbers 4-7...i can only see down to the crosswalk photo though, i'm on dial-up and can never get your full posts before the red x syndrome sets in though, but these are cool.

in response to Handphone Dec 04 2006

aer suzuki: thanks CPW...GGP... these look darker than what i thought...dealing with a new monitor...but that's ok.

in response to Blue Snow

aer suzuki: that is a damn fine shot...

in response to Post Industrial

procyon: ooh, rusty moon-machinery. that is possibly my favorite kind of citynoise.
