C B: I lived near Eastern Parkway in the 50s..Even then, it was magnificent..I have since moved to another state but,will never forget how lovely it was on a summer's day to walk up Washington Avenue and go to the Botanical Gardens, or the Brooklyn Museum or the Brooklyn Library...What memories!!! Marc: When I visited Sussex, probably twice this summer while on a Farm Apprenticeship, I couldn't help but notice the small-town quality there is here. The mural campaign should be good enough to revive Sussex. I've watched the film "Wal-Mart : The High Cost of Low Prices" ... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: You may see an old man in the mirror, but the young man is alive and well in your stories. Keep telling us about him and he'll live forever. The only phrase I can come up with is it's like you touch my shadow. You need to write a book, seriously. Tammy: Love the photo documentary. I work, go to school, and worship in Newark. It is a great city that has endured many injustices which gives new meaning to its nickname “Brick City"- its toughness and spirit of determination is fortifying. The city of Newark is a cultural...
