yeh, duplo from boro Robyn: Rick well he would write u if he had your e-mail lol Hes not great with the pc rick: I remember Steve, as well. I think that in the early years of our sojourn in PS 241 we nicknamed him "Giggles." Am I right? In any event, I can picture him, exactly. I actually remember an instance of being with him and your Mom (and, I think, you were... stepha: robyn, i lived right next to the bridge, you saw the tracks from mybedroom window (sparks in the snow!!!) i think i finished 241 in 1961, then went to lefferts jhs. wow, rick? was he in a class with me? my brother is Loring (Lorry) ... Robyn: Stepha so u would have lived in the building next to mine? 916 Carroll right across from 241? My brother was in the last graduating class from 241 in 8th grade.
Rick my brother remembers you. janet: Jeff--I lived on St. John's between Schenectady & Troy and went to John Marshall JHS in the late 40's--I have ten years on you and so our teachers might not have been the same. Peter: have you guys consulted google maps to see if the building is there anymore?
below is a link to a satellite photo of that block... you can see the carroll street footbridge on the left, and can navigate around the map to see what you can identify:
tinyurl.com/ywc6o2 Peter: this was a really nice read, and nicely written. i, for one, always appreciate a nice text entry now and then... you should write more about toronto...
i agree about how homeless people are often "actively ignored"... i see it every day here in nyc; its as if theyre invisible... people... stepha: I am tickled you are all trying to unravel the identity of the "mystery"building. ok, here's another memory, walking around the ebbets fied area one day my friend elaine and i came upon a trailer, open on the side, that was an ad for Borden's milk, and... Robyn: Rick I have a picture of our moms and your Aunt at Coney Island.Get my e-mail from Robert and I can mail it to you rick: I will check with some of the other neighborhood folks with whom I am still in contact. If I get a response, I will report back. pnav: That is my laneway! My house is half way down on the left. Yeah, that really is a cool part of NDG. This is the lane between Belgrave (west) and Clifton (east), with the tracks to the North and Upper Lachine road to the south. Robyn: Rick well lets see I asked everyone about the building it was right across the st from the garage and noone knows what it was lol.Its driving me crazy.Someone told me it was now a police station. Peter: sort of reminds me of this Rocky: Ya baby i wanna ride this train

To Arii: Students who skipped Math A and moved to Math B classes are exemplary students who already passed Math A Regents. If you feel that your need wasn't met, you have to see any of your Math teachers, guidance counselors, the school's Math Coach or the AP. They will definitely... Barto: Hey I play b-ball on that hoop all summer! Freddy Lurkury: Hey "Justanotherjoe" - Didja ever think that maybe frustrated Hutch residents browse online trying to find explanations for their town's woes or to find resources on who to contact to try to start some change? Thats how I found this thread.
And as far as "hiding latent desires to return", WTF... Justanotherjoe: It is easy to understand why someone who likes Hutchinson may visit this site and take time to comment. What I can't fathom is why anyone expressing some much dislike for the town would even bother a site visit; unless they are hiding latent desires to return! If... Padre Island: P.S. One thing I really do miss from being up there is the snow. Here it is Dec. 20th and it's 70 degrees down here. DARN!! Floody: I agree that it will never get back to where is was in the past...nothing ever does, but please do not put down the efforts that the New Kensington Community Development Corporation is currently doing. Although what took a few years to destroy will take many years to rebuild. ... Padre Island: I am honestly not a Hutch hater, I was born there and grew up in that area. It just saddens me to see what the city was 30 to 40 years ago, and the situation now. And, I think the difference is more noticeable when a person lives somewhere else... miguel ayala aka Mike: Hi I just want to wish all you guys a MERRY CHRISTMAS & a HAPPY NEW YEAR a SAFE RIDE Dillon Currie: I love peterborough graffiti ill be on road soon big up all my o.g.c manz 2007 Peter: you better check it out quick... from what ive heard (and saw last time i was in the neighborhood), its quickly being renovated... this is good, for sure, but its more than 2/3 of the way finished (well, as in cleaned up and cleared out, as opposed to final renovation),... Jamie G: Seen two of those people around the city.
Not enough Melbourne pics. zuhair: i have been to all the top 5 above cities in the world but for me new york should get abetter rank JOEY TPA CREW: Queens is right, and good catch on the "DC-10" tag. The Captain disappeared, Tage is no longer with us, Duck 77 is still around, works in a moving company, still living in Woodside, UJ-178....off to another land, Tear..same thing. Bobby 85 also gone from this world. Glad to see Queens... prof: In the defense of everybody who comes looking for chicks in bikinis, when you post a beautiful set of shots with an ambiguous title, folks don't know what to expect, and are often disappointed. When a title bosts bikinis, we know exactly what to expect and usually get it. EvilGentleman: Yay, I see from the tire tracks in the snow that they finally reopened the road there! It was closed for quite a while while they did tests to ensure it would not collapse into the Ville Marie Tunnel below. This building also has public walkways under it that look... EvilGentleman: I actually don't know. I saw it last year, and before that, I last saw it in 1994. I don't recall if any of it was the same or not. jeeff: by writing in english they implicitly acknowledge that english is a valid medium for communication. at least if they wrote it in french they could say, "fuck you, we don't care what you understand!" Michael worsley: I Was Born On November 21,1971 In Bushwick 37 Eldert Street On The Second Floor My Heart And Soul Still There In Brooklyn As They Say Never Forget Where You Came From jack: good story michelle, i guess i've seen my share of homeless people in new york. some are sad, some funny, some crazy. stfu: I saw a HA member use a woman's head to beat on bongo drums during a music venue. I look at it as he was teaching her how to play music.
