Previous Day :: Next Dayzagg: I ♥ the astronauts. I have a picture of it at work.
yes i am that off. zagg: Well jfilip I hope you post more of your view of Sarnia too, see others creative view of the city zagg: I bought a shirt last year from Cafepress (LJ friend made a design in MY honour: http://www.cafepress.com/wannamakeout/469578) and the image got pretty wonky, pretty quickly. IT became ruined with stains, then ruined it further when I tried to dye it with tea --- but that part is my own fault. ksedge: geez if we're plugging t-shirts, check out [[www.mytsharp.com]] aer suzuki: beware of cafe press, unless things have changed in the past year or two, the print quality on their shirts really sucks. cool shirt though. zagg:
that is to say I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT zagg: I would love to live in Toronto, I just would need to be able to walked to the water without too much effort whenever I need to. This girl lives for the lakes. jeeff:
i caught my sony dsc-p100 taking this sexy self-portrait in the washroom yesterday. the camera was mortified. EvilGentleman: Fashion? What is Fashion?
I tried entering this comment a few times, but I kept getting an error page. Ger van de Ven: It is impossible, you do not believe it, it is a wonder. That tiny man build the cathedral al alone, without any help. And no plans on paper, no structural drawings. I admire this monk wich I met in 2001, wish him succes. It is a pity that he cannot... little ukraine: cg - i was gonna say it, too! but i know who i'm dealing with. little ukraine: glad to see the PowerShots are popular.. I've had the S200 for four years and I love it. Jhae: Gee, Chris, jealous?
There are a lot of good things happening in Bricktown, as well as the Downtown and Midtown areas of Oklahoma City. Throw out all pre-conceived notions and look out for OKC to really be put on the map in the next few years. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Nice to see you Joey! and a nice shot. I almost want a pack of Lucky Strikes. colavitos ghost: Cleveland is full of old beauties like that one. Thanks for the post! Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I missed this first time round. it explains sooo much. jamie: mega mega super awesome Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I think I might get one. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I'd rather have to endure penis-increasing spam than this kind. jfilip:
Nikon Coolpix S4 (from phone)
Sony Ericsson T610 (from camera)
Catherine Penfold-Waxman:
My Canon Powershot S400, as seen by my phone.
My Treo 600, as seen by my camera.
Franny Wentzel: Ruled the glazing world till the arrivals of Giga and Terra Glassworks... Jon: what part of town? (just curious) Those things survive all over the forest city i suppose. jack: mega glass! anon : I Would say that it isn't anything like the burg EvilGentleman: "So long as the human spirit
thrives on this planet,
music in some living form
will accompany and sustain it
and give it expressive meaning."
Aaron Copland
Wow, was I ever far off at deciphering some of this... EvilGentleman: I wonder if Jeff has any shots of Japan's famous sidewalk beer vending machines.
chiamattt, do they have them in Korea as well?
joey, it looks like you are sporting a moustache, but I cannot tell if there is a beard as well. If it is just a moustache, I seem... EvilGentleman: Perhaps you should start calling yourself sign. Or perhaps sign wave. ;-)
Looks like even when the sign was new, it read "widow glass" EvilGentleman: The text on the bottom right is driving me nuts.
I see:
??????? OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT
????SE ON THIS PLANET
?????N SOME LIVING FORM
?? ????????Y AND SUSTAIN IT
??????? EXPRESSIVE MEANING
????????ND jack: beauty parlor? jack: ok
aer suzuki: lovely shot, glad i was here when it bubbled up from the archives. aer suzuki: i saw my first cigarette vending machine in a garishly under-lit, loudly patterned casino hallway in either reno or las vegas and it looked similar to this one. i was fascinated, and thought it was much more interesting than a slot machine...
great shot. aer suzuki: gijgoatuha opwthj...just kiddin.
it's a shame about that spam, these photos need a real comment. the red umrellas in the first shot are cool as hell, especially offset against the black clothes/tablecloth and echoed in the reds to the left, the coat and the shirt. the second and third pictures... Chiamattt:
Samsung SCH-V500 Cameraphone
Nikon D1 (It looks better than it is. Its actually quite ancient)
Nikon F4 (Was my primary camera up until about a year ago)
Andrew Smith: Thanks everyone. Due to the hills causing the Atlantic clouds to rise, much of Wales can often be misty and rainy Susannah, but we caught it on a good day! Editor: can you post bigger versions (600 pixels wide ideally) in the comments so we can replace these smaller ones? groovehouse:
My trusty Canon SD500 - 7.1 MP shelia/neworleans : I am sure that if one of those buildings is still standing you will have some remnants of the life that once was. Evil spirits don’t leave gracefully. As long as there is a host you have that threat of what ever that spirit brings.
I don't think the... joey: franny, what was the defect? joey: a good friend of mine was a wheat paste poster worker for a couple of years. his 'beat' was the streets of san francisco. he and his partner made pretty good money while it lasted. joey: i also have the sony digital still camera. the same model p73 as pictured above. joey: this vending machine looks like a classic! Susannah : These pictures are so clear and bright - I always thought of Wales as being misty and overcast. EvilGentleman: Our cigarette vending machines in Montreal were outlawed on May 31. EvilGentleman: Chris - Sainte-Catherine near Lambert-Closse, except picture 4, which is down the street at the corner of St-Marc.
anon - I am for the most part still experimenting with shooting people in an urban setting. I rarely go out specifically to shoot pictures, but I always take my camera with me... Previous Day :: Next Day |
