Previous Day :: Next Dayjoey: perhaps an 'inside' photo then. as you're driving through. Cosmo: I came here mainly for visual stimulation and I usually skip big text entries. Sometimes I wade a bit into some text, and am reminded of why I came for the visual.
But you hooked me early and kept me with this one. Nice word capture here!
(and... peacefrog: As an American who has lived in Canada most of his life, visiting the US and especially NYC is a harsh reality check, and a reminder that the ravages of racism are still alive and well in America - even in its most progressive city.
Let me explain. As a rubio... Susannah : I intend to revisit these shots anytime I need to "just BREATHE..." Susannah : Sorry Diana - PS321 was where I went ....didn't do me much good, obviously. Susannah : Nice series - the guy with the banana is my favorite. I wish I knew what he was saying. Susannah : Classic phone box. Susannah : These photos make me so hungry - the raw cookie dough is calling from the fridge - help! Susannah : I guess thats because of my closed mind. Cosmo: And none of the rest of them are lifting a finger/paw/hoof/tail to help! Susannah : One of the mom's from my son's karate class insists that gator is delicious- she told me a really funny story about when her husband tried to catch one with a chicken as bait. Somehow I don't find them appealing. Susannah : Whoa - creepy! The panda and the bee look like they want to escape. Cosmo: Glad to meet you, joey! Once in a lifetime is a good minimum to visit any place. 1972 must have been a tough time to visit, so soon after the riots and all. It's still pretty rocky around here but there are definite signs of rebirth. ... peacefrog: Peter: oh yeah, cause brooklyn's such a horrible place! Especially for the deaf! joey: cosmo. i'm just an ordinary guy who grew up in cleveland and figures most people on the internet are young people. i wanted you to know i visited detroit once in my lifetime. EvilGentleman: Yes, we definitely have tunnels, but I don't think we have any so pretty, or any that catch the sun as well as this. But I know the tunnel under the rail tracks in Kahnawake is a popular shooting location for Hollywood film productions, so maybe I should get a... EvilGentleman: Oh, no doubt it is a prized delicacy, or it would not be on the menu at all. I think most of us are aware of that. But most people would respond to the prices of caviar, truffles and certain types of crab the same way. While there will always... Cosmo: I just discovered this site a couple of days ago and so far all the images I've posted are from a cheap 3 MP cam that I got free in a computer system rebate deal. It's dead now but I have a 2 MP cheapie that's even worse, and... Cameo: Here's where you find that crazy spaceship!

I'm involved in the beginning stages of a project called "Satellite Island" for a publication in the city Den Haag in the Netherlands. It will cover all variations on the theme of the Island in contemporary culture. I've been interested in Paterson,... Gangs in HP:
The gangs og HP have killed this area. I remember in the 70's & 80's in addition to the Latin Kings we had a Simon Park Brothers and Sons of Capone fighting all the time in my little area. I'm sure it's the same now too. You... jeeff: jesus's friend makes a good point about the murder kill. blur: that would realy keep the box from sticking to the pizza
Jamie: I want to ride my bicycle bicycle bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride it where I like Jamie: totally. the overall quality of a photo lies more in the person pressing the shutter release than it does in the quality of the equipment used. certainly a nice shiny lens helps a lot but i think most would agree that someone with artistic vision can easily create an... ksedge: welcome! i'm looking forward to seeing someone elses view of calgary. keep'em comin! Check out my photopage at http://www.flickr.com/photos/sherlock77 Lots of Calgary scenery and people there, I'm off to Expo Latino tomorrow, should be fun Jesus's Friend: I would never support the Hell's Angels. The are discusting. The murder kill. Those who say they are so courtious. Well, think about it this way, when the next person want to join the croud of Hell's Angele's, then they have to kill to get in. What would you do if... James: I think it's been there for years... I know this area fairly well... One of those things that is just there and that everybody has forgotten why
http://www.flickr.com/photos/sherlock77 jeeff: yeah, camphone it up! Sirhcbre: Maybe I'll go back another time and get the same picture minus the shoe. I didn't have time to take another one as I was getting in a hurry to get down. Cosmo: I dunno who joey is or how he gauges my age, but I was born before anyone stepped on the moon. And a bit before that, even. I don't think there are photos of my birth. If there are, they're black and white. ;-) joey: i toured the detroit stroh's brewery in august of 1972. before cosmo was born. i have a photograph of that somewhere around here. probably in a box in the garage joey: i heard this week that most of the world's bananas now come from india. joey: evilg; last time i was in montreal 1972, i remember there were some tunnels there. how about some pics?
i commute through the BART tunnel twice a day. on the train to and from work. they say it's the most dangerous commute in the bay area because the earthquake fault,... Toronto Watcher: I live in the Toronto Area and there are over 180 Hells Angels running 18 charters here. The cops are charged with 20 times the crimes the Angels are in Ontario, and they turn a blind eye to almost every crime a cop commits and bang the Angels for everything... joey: perilous pictures. even though that is an ugly shoe, that last shot is the best. we love to vertigo on citynoise. joey: over one year later, and it still holds up. a test for digital pictorial culture of the early 21st century.
