For Indian tacos, look at frybread jamie: i bet you did you filthy mare ksedge: i'd rather pull flowers than a human... ksedge: what clarity! markus: I been a bike courier for years in different cities, but in the early 90's bikes were getting ripped off from couriers in T.O, they were using a larger bar to break them at the guts, we came up with an idea, you go and buy a T pipe... Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I had a party sausage once, before I was married. zagg: My keys have a thing from Intercourse Pennsylvania. jamie: thing is they're not technically spelling mistakes, so a spell checker wouldn't pick them up unless it was really hot on grammar. The sign writer has obviously relied on his copy of m$ word to correct his terrible spelling. Only problem is that computerised spell checkers assume the user has... jamie: or this:
jamie: what are 'scones'? Chris Erb: Canadian Bacon is the American word for back bacon. It's really thick pieces of bacon that are just terrible for you. I used to love it when I ate meat. Chris Erb: I was only there for an afternoon. I'll keep it in mind for the next time I'm there though. markus: Did you go for breakfast in NDG and was it Cosmos if you didn't try to next time little grease spoon was placed third in favourite breakfast in Montreal. Thanks for the pics haven't been there in awhile. a disturbed young man: yeah i know what you mean. upon re-reading. thanks for the crtiticism, which i revieve humbly and above all constructively. Donna: Raccons have been living in an old home that I recently purchased and am in the process of renovating. We have ripped out the ceilings and some walls and much poo!! has fallen out. It appears these guys lived here a long while before we came along. What is the... ciuli:: bey baieti as vrea sa incep si yo parkour da nu jtiu cum. sar yo peste masini, garaje si ce obstacole mai gasesc da aste e usor. am 16 ani si sunt din galati. e mijto sportu da nu jtiu ce sa fac?!?!?! markus: thanks for the memories been out west way too long use to bike courier and live in k-town great lens. girl that lived on franklin ave n park place: i allways seen this block its beautiful i might move ther Franny Wentzel: One of the best modern buildings in NYC. Had a structural defect that might've toppled it in a hurricane but it was caught in time to fix. EvilGentleman: Chris: Beats the heck out of me. I also have no clue what Canadian bacon is, either.
Peter: Thanks, and for a more detailed wiki read of the Oka Crisis, be sure to check the discussion page. A lot of surprising stuff is discussed there. Try to picture French-Canadian Catholic KKK... Peter: wow... i had never heard of the oka crisis before... that was an interesting read! also: nice pics... Chris Erb: What are Indian tacos? EvilGentleman: I love Tim Horton's, but then again, I hate coffee, so I focus on their true specialty - doughnuts! EvilGentleman: Wow, that brings a whole different aspect to this article. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: I like the guy about to walk into a shadow tree (2nd pic). Chris Erb: I like the different layers of activity in the yellow dress pic. Garth Amey: Has anyone else seen a ghost at the Portsmouth Tavern, woman in yellow dress with blue flowers, blonde and 20ish? Peter: there are absolutely endless opportunities for great photos inside the moma... Peter: i love these. especially the first one. a city kaliedoscope! Peter: heh lol. i used to have a citibamnk card, too. then i paid it off, cut it up, and never looked back... anon (omam-182.admin.ohio-state.edu): can you do that with the balance on my citi credit card? jfilip: Pfft. Tim Hortons is just shitty coffee, 'coffee-related' products, and donuts. The Cracker Barrel is an EXPERIENCE! Biscuits! 'Old' wooden barrel checkers! Candy store!
I ate many meals in Cracker Barrel's on many family drives to Florida as a kid so it's a special place for... jfilip: Actually, I am more Sarnian. I moved to Toronto seven years ago and these are my 'Sarnia' keys:
Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Evildoers, beware! EvilGentleman: I really do need to get myself a decent cape one of these days. Preferably one with a camera logo on it. EvilGentleman: I think an even more unique tag would be drunken zombie pirates singing "An arrrrrrrrd day's night" EvilGentleman: You make a very valid point, Susannah. At the moment, it seems as if urban residents are so much more tolerant of differences than people in the smaller communities and rural areas. This is probably partially true, due to the fact that people raised in small towns and on farms... JC: Its just a penis really...as Catherine said its probably a teenage boy.joking around either that or a homosexual getting no action so he drew one for him self? jack: a harp and a lyre. jack: at first glance i did not notice the window, hmmmm, very good find. jack: joey, take some pic's of the of the boats. i love san diego. as a matter of fact in my pic at the mission, i'm wearing or rather holding a padre's hat. jack: evil, change your name to mike hammer. your aggression toward crime is truly inspirational. if more people did this, crime would drop. but the girl in the window is what i first saw. so the crinimal, found himself in a good spot where people would look... jack: hool, great people shots. but even better, the shadows in every pic except for the yellow dress. jack: great and humorous Jeff, Birmingham: I am not too educated on the troubles in Ireland but i would like to share with you some of my opinions.
Firstly i do not understand why the protestants love the queen when most people in england dont even like her. by liking the monachy i believe you are degrading... Susannah : Is it a majority that favors civil union or a majority that supports gay marriage - because I don't think they are the same. I think civil union is a diplomatic attempt to bridge the differences. But in reality it is still a form of segregation. Can I tell... Shamie:
Ogra Shinn Fein, Up the Falls, Fuck the Shankill.
Tiocfaidh ar la.
Saiorse...The united Ireland is inevitable, you loyalists need to realise that!! aer suzuki: flipped when i saw misfits lyrics in citynoise. a few years ago i started going through a misfits listening resurgence that still hasn't ended. along with the ramones and the groovie ghoulies they've proven the best at blocking out obnoxious and agonizingly boring cell phone conversations on the bus/at the... benji: i love the 4th pic - yellow skirt and bag balanced by yellow board on the right, brings your attention towards the trike and maybe mum? watching on phone, awesome shots aer suzuki: "Public Transportation is a good thing for Toronto. Lots of slate sky, concrete, asphalt, brick and steel...they took paradise and made a concrete jungle for sure."
Ok. Maybe Toronto's different but here in Seattle they used concrete, asphalt, brick and steel to pave over paradise for not only the busses, but... jeeff: i enjoyed this post very much. i wish we had a decent sculpture garden around here. jeeff: i know this is lame, but just because of the list of styles this reminds me of the barber shops in gta: san andreas. ryan: I am a graduate student writing my master's thesis on wheatpasting. I am looking to interview individuals who wheatpaste either via email or in person. Please contact me if you are interested in discussing your art: rjgoode@gmail.com
thanks. jeeff: regarding the last photo, it's the segway of the 19th century. jeeff: that's a ridiculous argument. whether the graffiti has any effect on people and their polluting habits is debatable, but how can a tiny amount of spraypaint compare to the huge amount of noxious chemicals, human waste, garbage, etc. that we dump in our waterways every day? i understand... ksedge:
we sure do! and apparently we leave our socks on the sidewalk too...
ksedge:
some new shots... Grange: im confused , is the third picture down Mel Gibsons bedroom , and how did he get from Malibu to san gabriel? Grange: good one ...well done bud !
The top shot is great as it has the girl in the window ( upper right ) so its art too ..
Send this to the local paper or god forbid ,CBC, evil , its sure to get some media attention
ksedge: beautiful set of shots. i really like the coffee cup in the first one and how it plays with distance in the image. hool: use a photocopier to enlarge prints. get big prints made cheaply at kinkos, or similar print shop. it's not expensive to get black ink printed on plain paper in large sizes. EvilGentleman: At least it did not say "seizure designs" EvilGentleman: jack, jack... Ever the delinquent. Thanks for smuggling your ill-gotten gains out to share with the rest of us. EvilGentleman: Awesome! But I wonder if the new decor has resulted in the parking lot becoming more upscale, and thus more expensive? Marlo: It was a well thought out jump. I wanted to get away from Dallas, go north, to a different country, where English is spoken, and be able to subsist financially, all while getting an interesting liberal arts education---hence St. Thomas. Chris Erb: There does seem to be some hypocracy here. The fish on the English drain was painted right over the drain holes. I imagine this was done with spraypaint which means that some paint went into the water and therefore into the river. I can't imagine spraypaint being... Chris Erb: How did you end up going from Dallas to Fredericton? That seems like quite a jump! Previous Day :: Next Day |
