Previous Day :: Next DayEvilGentleman: Ahhhh! There is the southern terminus of the transatlantic Guinness pipeline. I always wondered where it went. 5000 miles of warm bitter on tap. EvilGentleman: In the interests of the preservation of the prevalent pedanticism which we have been previously predisposed to possessing, I should perhaps politely point out that "Antarctica" has a "c" in it, positioned between the "r" and the "t". Furthermore, polar bears (Ursus Maritimus) are native to the Arctic. Antarctica has... aer suzuki: it's not every man who knows how to accessorize for the arctic... EvilGentleman: Aw darn, I was hoping to see the trinkets. Most of us Native Americans find it hilarious to see "authentic" Native souvenirs that have little innocuous labels proclaiming them to be made in China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, etc. The most "authentic" ones are sometimes made in Brazil or Mexico.
jack,... EvilGentleman: I believe Chris is referring to the many similar abandoned industrial sites of the same design (and possibly the same purpose) that are scattered along the banks of the Lachine Canal here in Montreal and throughout the port area, but I believe ours are usually coated in graf. sum one : sum one!!!!!!!! Josh Langille: Windsor's skyline may not be up to par but we are lucky to have a beautiful waterfront with an incredible skyline as a backdrop in Detroit.
This is Casino Windsor. One of the few prominent buildings you can see from Detroit.
This is one shot of the Detroit Skyline at nighttime... Tamara: Surely this a treasure... it's the only one left in the city. I love passing by and taking in the architecture. It would an awesome space to convert into something else, similar to the Distillery District, with it's art galleries and artist studios. Although I suppose that would be an... Tony Iommi: At one point, while I was attending undergrad, I lived in an apartment building (actually, a house converted to apartments) where a rather large family of raccoons lived as well. They chose to reside on a fire escape landing/ deck off of the top floor of the building (2nd... jack: actually they are tatooed on them. a great point of conversation. Sam: Whats all the big fuss about??? That stuff looks meant for birds... something like a cuckoo nest BULL DOG: realy nice work .GOOD EYE jack: native american people have fabulous facial features. since i was born in america can i say i'm native american? (and no wisecracks from the peanut gallery). Chris Erb: He also walked (or swam I suppose, considering it's a fish) out on his wife and kids to go on a gambling and whisky spree. He never returned.
His family arn't doing too bad now. They moved into a small coral reef, one of his kids just graduated highschool... Cameo: the untidy area is fenced off... Huge hunks of concrete are falling off it from time to time now. Chris Erb: Doesn't this exact same building exist in Montreal? ksedge: could jack be the j. in j. peterman? haha and i supposed you churned the butter yourself in the african bush? lovin' it! keep'em comin! cool: damn u a grandad i been wunderin for a few months now realized The Owner: It has lots of windows - just not facing the street. They mostly face south. I believe I get a net gain from solar energy.
It exists to provide shelter for the owner and his family.
Chris is a bit fuzzy on his history. Squires Street was developed in... EvilGentleman: Your testicles are decorated with swirling ladders? When the heck were you born, Christmas? EvilGentleman: For a derelict building with numerous broken windows, there sure are tidy surroundings. I dunno whether it could be considered an eyesore or a trasure, but it sure fits on citynoise. Urban decay sure seems to be a popular theme, even in my own postings. jack: ??????? illiterate philospher ???????? EvilGentleman: Don't tell, but I think it may have a cavity in one of it's teeth, as well. jack: the tombstone of lost labor, of working men and women earning a living and building families, the end of an era. but i like the red buoy. Cameo: Either way, I don't want to lick them. Rahul: Nice Story jack: yes, i've seen those breasts somewhere before, but they do look like my testicles. jack: the fish is deformed, there is a dot out of place. aer suzuki: this is way too cool, you should put some of your pictures up at the visual dictionary : thevisualdictionary.net aer suzuki: ok, the eagle looks like he was right in the midst of a screaming dive down towards it's prey when all of a sudden a human being appeared out of nowhere beside it, suspended in mid air. the eagle is now so distracted with that "what the fuck?" feeling, it... aer suzuki: i can understand why red cars get ticketed more often, your eye just latches onto them...sweet and tasty shot. aer suzuki: A few more.
aer suzuki: impressive. .JAONE XTC: I AGREE......P.S. i have never been to seattle but......i used to like JIM ZORN # 10 on the seahawks..... joey: they look more like breasts shelia/neworleans : Phill
We are sweetheart.
anon (pool-71-106-172-136.lsanca.dsl-w.verizon.net): Ja is the true all time king, groovehouse: chemical balls EvilGentleman: I dunno if the Eagle and Garfish article is good enough, but it was the best I could do on short notice, since they are the only pictures I have of animals at the taxidermist's.
Nice story, by the way. phill: shelia we cool? atlanticcity: atlanticcity atlanticcity owen: Coney is a gettho has any one heard of o dywers Gardens hosing projects that place is a no go zone
