Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Industrial vibrators? For sex workers? groovehouse: Awesome...and she lets you take pictures! Michelle: Great picture - turbulent sunset! EvilGentleman: And for you Torontonians, try this: transit.toronto.on.ca/index.shtml EvilGentleman: Matt McLauchlin is famnatical about the Montreal Metro system. Here is his website www.metrodemontreal.com/index-e.html Tamara: If only it didn't snow so much in Montreal during the winter... I'd live there in a heartbeat. Maybe it's the socialist in me, but the social system in Quebec is ahead of ours here in Ontario... must be left over from the French. Peter: i like the cell tower/repeater to the right... jack: if there is a wall, they will come. jack: nah, you would miss the black and white and grime of the city. you would miss the vally's and canyons of steel and glass, the multitude, the lost, the happy, the tired, give me your poor and wretched, your workers, the endless monotony of commuting and rushing for trains,... drea:
This is me and 2 of my friends at a montreal metro station. I think it was the Place Des Beaux-Arts station. Not sure. It's gorgeous, that's all I can say. If only Toronto subway stations were like these. jack: ok everybody, calm down. this company builds engines, vibrators for industry. have you ever seen a jackhammer at work and complain about the noise, its a vibrator, he he ha ha you guys can all cool off now. Jenna: I guess you're right! surprises can be good... drea: That's a VERY colourful corner! GGP: i don't know...sometimes it's nice to be surprised...esp. where vibrators are concerned. Tamara: Aaaahh you have one of the good ones, the remakes aren't made as well as the ones made pre 80's. I've had mine repaired already and I needs to go back :( But really nothing made these days, is ever as good as the original. Old school... Jenna: GGP, wouldn't you want to know what was coming up behind you?
especially at a place where vibrations are common... jk
I think this photo is great! very perverse. GGP: I like the security mirror on the pole--HERE AT THE CLEVELAND VIBRATOR COMPANY, WE ARE WATCHING YOUR EVERY MOVE! Tamara: I think it's clear what going on in there... heheheh Peter: what do you mean, biff? Peter: even better, mine was made in st. petersburg in 1975, way before the lomo society remakes... i had another, but gave it away. rest assured, ill most definitely hang on to mine, though! Peter: dude! best of. theres some serious firepower in that first shot... Peter: my commute would be about 1000x better if it involved such colorful stations... groovehouse: Hey!! It's a tribute to the old Houston Astros uniforms!! Awesome!

snazzy wall! GGP: amazing!!! Elicar: I really like the English's brand of humour. It is soooo subtle and understated. ;) Jamie: i often find that when i look at my watch/a clock it is exactly 11:39. I know, it sounds stupid, but i thought i'd share it with you. Jamie: looks like a load of old bolllards Jamie: How interesting. Have i mentioned how much it rocks that you're posting stuff here lately? mooooooooooore tarn : omg!! it looks like a man wearing a chicken ova his hed!! its weird!! cudnt they fink ov sumfink a little betta dan dat!! lmao tania: this stencil looks quite basic, but its not until you take a gd look at it, before yousee whats really there!! Marc: i love the alley! underage girls drinkin and carousing with show tune queens singing bygone songs-- honestly the best piano bar on the planet!!! a lot of good memories from there. cerniagigante: which raises the question whether there are gay dogs? cerniagigante: it's good the parade didn't bump into an animal rights protest cerniagigante: nice shot,
I would try to make a "negative" of it (photoshop's 3 clicks)... I have the feeling you'll get a very "brilliant" result. cerniagigante: she's saying: "Are blue tiny cars all I get to eat?" cerniagigante: I think it's his soul, he left it in the jacket and, as we all know, the soul takes the shape of the body it inhabits. Tamara: Peter, I love my lomo too... great for long exposures and good colour saturation. I read online that the lomo society is not making them anymore, so hang on to it, very tightly.
it will be worth more than pretty pictures in a few years. Tamara: No not tall or blond and no trench coat! Iam not Latino either.. but since you asked I have long dark hair and brown eyes, tanned skin, 5 foot 4.. and curvy.. These days I've been wearing a turquoise jacket and scarf... no dog attached, I take myself for... ak40: r.i.p sane and may smith have many more years lisa: i dont know if these pics are really from that place and time or not but i lived if fergus my whole life up untill the past 2 years which ive lived in guelph and i can tell ya right now that there were LOTS of times i spent hiding... gustavo__toda@hotmail.com Biff: We are losing a generation of artists... Biff: Yes, From Fort William, now Thunder Bay Ontario. My Grandad's rifle is in the local Museum "James McGregor" he was in gold rush of the 1849. But was robbed and came back to Upper Canada to meet grand Ma and to grow cold climate potatoes. The pink eyed... wes: sweet pix daug wes: the only graffiti i like is the first six Biff: Tamara,
Are you the tall blonde in the trench coat with the Lhaso Apso(sp)...or the velvet Latino with the Sharpoi?? I love that park...By the way it's Allan with an a. I used to get that wrong also. Check Wikepedia for an history notation. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: fries and franks....mmmmmm! I love New York all year round, but June is sublime. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Drea, I'm glad that you like it enough to want to use it. Please feel free.
Apparently it is a goat (according to peters link). The statue is on paralell with 68th street, west of the middle of the park. Tamara: I just love the light, the colour, the texture and the shadow of the tree.
I have to admit that I'm a bit hypnotized myself. Very nice! kc: pretty amazing. love the paired pigeons with those cool cats...not to mention the lamps! there are twos everywhere...like signs to something mysterious... jeeff: maybe they try to hypnotize the pets to lull them into complacency... jeeff: and then i thought, "hmm, i wonder if anything goes that fast..." jeeff: i was just joking because of the photo. Micah: odometer (I looked it up to be sure) joey: yep. that's our friendly neighborhood oil refinery. drea: aw crap..sorry, not odometer....the thing that tells you how many kilometres you have driven, what's that called? jeeff: coincidentally that's roughly the speed of pioneer 10, the 3rd fastest interplanetary spacecraft.
www.aerospaceweb.org/question/sp . . . on/spacecraft/q0225.shtml GGP: yeah. neat. jeeff: they're movin' on up...
houston's skyline looks like lego. very cool. jeeff: 44,444 km/h is pretty fast. jeeff: looks like a tear in the fabric of time. kudos. groovehouse: Really dig that first image with all the guns on display! Tamara: James ~ good to know some people can fly.. I wish had those super powers too.
Tamara: lovely shot! great sky... cerniagigante: It depends on what you're looking at, the building is reflected, but the poles are not. The poles are upside down, the building is rotated twice.
Amazing what a murky water puddle on the tarmac can produce. There's a special light in the afternoon, when the sun... cerniagigante: Two worlds meeting: the first one is the common European garden turtle, the red-ear is an import from the New World. Athens is also a place where West meats East. cerniagigante: Very fascist... I like the dropping snow, it gives life to the eagles... The ram is dead though, still warm, but dead. Eagles won't feast on a live ram, even fascist eagles. I've seen many statues in CP, but I've missed this one... I'll look for it next... Previous Day :: Next Day |
