jack: this was some post catherine.

in response to Mr Pendlebury Takes a Trip

jack: now i remember it was myrtle ave. there was this bar called the red garter and we got into a fight and my friend broke this guys legs over the table, wild days.

in response to Bushwick: The Fire Woman

jack: will do, its been many years since i roamed atlantic and utica avenues, there was a club called the 2000 club in the 60's, always fights, booze and crazy women. i went out once with a girl from bushwick ave.

in response to Bushwick: The Fire Woman

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: Battle robots. Cyberdyne Systems Corporation. Arrggghh.

in response to Mill Parts

procyon: that first shot is awesome. (not that the second one isn't; just that i love how the contortions of the machinery take up the majority of the first)

in response to Mill Parts

Jamie: classic citynoise

in response to Hool Was Here

Joe: First and last pictures are terrific. Always look forward to your posts. Thanks

in response to March 27 2007 Toronto

procyon: haha, nice.

in response to Gettin Graded at Gasworks

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: rendering images, not whales, I presume?

in response to Windowview

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: too funny.

in response to Hool Was Here

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 1. Astoria, Queens. 2. It wasn't acid, it was advertising for a design firm 3. $15 a tab

in response to Mr Pendlebury Takes a Trip

CE: Do you know when it was built and why? It's pretty neat though.

in response to Pretzel Stair Sculpture

upfromflames: real girl real life real city. you should give it a visit sometime, jack. Tag it up for the over 50's!

in response to Bushwick: The Fire Woman

EvilGentleman: I guess that's what they call "tough love"

in response to Club Super Sexe

EvilGentleman: It would be a barrel of fun in the home of a chronic drunk, just imagine how long they would spend climbing before giving up. I'm picturing a cross between a roller coaster and a hamster wheel.

in response to Pretzel Stair Sculpture

jack: for a second i thought that was a real girl walking pass the art work, but she is in the artwork or am i all wet here.

in response to Bushwick: The Fire Woman

jack: graf education.

in response to Gettin Graded at Gasworks

jack: that would be a great staircase in a home.

in response to Pretzel Stair Sculpture

jack: if i look at this too much my wife will make a super contact with me, a right into the jaw.

in response to Club Super Sexe

jack: hahahahahahahaha

in response to Hool Was Here

upfromflames: Here is a better view of that. gotta go back on a Sunny day, and really take a step into crazy color.

in response to Urban Eccentricities: The Bird Man of Lenox Rd.

Frank S. Besner: an echo of Montréal spiral staircasedom.

in response to Pretzel Stair Sculpture

SCAM28: nice...more trux! more flix! keep 'em comin'!!!

in response to 033107 Graf Truck

EvilGentleman: I must comment additionally, I found the adjacent signage in the last photo to be quite funny, yet appropriate. The "" Gym was an awesome touch of randomness, and I guess the dancers who have a little too much contact might need to go shopping downstairs at the maternity...

in response to Club Super Sexe

kate: born and raised in philly and miss the old days there in the 40s and 50s when life was safe and good and so were the people

in response to urban form in north philadelphia

Brad: That looks crazy! I especially like the 2nd picture, the contrast of his house and the others in what looks like an otherwise tidy neighborhood.

in response to Urban Eccentricities: The Bird Man of Lenox Rd.
