As for the Band, I think the picture was... hool: props chiam, good set. your photographs are completely different when you shoot them from the eye, a distinct style comes through quite clearly. nice edits too, the tonality is very good on all of them. interspersing the few shots of old people who aren't part of the protest helps... David L. Drogin: My mother had an aunt and two uncles living on the corner of Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue (next to the Lubavicher Synagogue), and my paternal grandmother lived across Eastern parkway. We visited all the time. I vividly remember staying at mom's uncle's apartment and going to services at Brooklyn... julie: hi just looked at your site, realy good, although i am not a barlicker i am an earbier (oops)i have lived here most of my life. Was hoping someone might have some photos of the magestic(bop club days)I remember seeing gene vincent there and Billy Fury and many more, great days. Can anyone remember THE... Diane Ferguson: I haven't driven or riden through the tunnel in many many years, First went through it as a child of 4 yrs. right after it was opened... I was in awe each time we went though it. Mom would tell us how much water was above us... Former Hutchinsonite: Yea, that's what they mean by 'come share our space' - in a cell at the prison. Former Hutchinsonite: Oh, I forgot, you guys are big in prisons and reformatories, because of all the drugs, high crime rate and lack of jobs, the homeless are probably charged with trumped up charges, sent to prison, and you the taxpayer take care of them that way. So you don't have... Former Hutchinsonite: Which brings up a very good question, where are the homeless people in Hutch? Are they 'gotton rid of' Former Hutchinsonite: They probably are at the salvation army, or died from neglect. Peter: this is definitely one of my favorite posts... interesting, re: the chalk trick. hmm, perhaps that explains the heavy lines of powdered blue chalk around my building's back door... Peter: hmm, i dont know whats better... the snakeskin guitar, the sequined-vested drummer, the leather pants, the white-guy-dreds or the tattoo/piercing-enhancing mesh shirt on the singer... hahahaha.

Peter: speeders on the bike trails? theres a bike speed-limit? do they use radar? are you supposed to have a bike speedometer or something? heh... Peter: wow, what a great set... the first thing that popped into my mind after seeing some of these shots was a curiosity of the level of official involvement (er, or "unofficial" involvement of officials) of chinese agitators/representatives/officials- glad to find your comment addressing that.
i particularly liked the short of the... Norma Bannon (nee Bolton): Hi rob,
The Army & Navy stores was a double fronted shop at the end of the row, near the chippy. In the days when it wasn't fashionable to wear camouflage pants!!
I didn't recognise which band it was, do you know who the players are?
Norma chiamattt: I had no problems whatsoever. The vast majority of China Supporters (chinese students) were full of smiles and willingly posed for pictures. The Seoul Police were polite and didn't hinder my movements at all. I was able to take pictures of fans while riot police moved around me to form... serlingrod: i love straight up streetscape shots like these. this is a nice set of this alley. i like the milk jug sign. Montrealbunny: Upon hearing shouts of Huah! I don`t recall them doing this last year so I... jeeff: thx tiara i think many of us are still around. i'll remember the trick with chalk, but i agree that ultimately you must adapt. to answer your question, i think the change was based on both season and evolution. i found roaches increasingly difficult to kill as... jeeff: i think the regional repercussions of the torch relay must loom large in korea. how were you received as a western dude taking photos? jj: does anyone remember tillys store at tulip and cambria st.? also how is tulip street which includes 2 side streets, auburn and william streets? is jones junior high still just jones junior high? and when did kensington high become boy/girl? Montrealbunny: Wow! Those derailment shots are captivating, and even more so to me as I work for a railroad.
