Previous Day :: Next DayRob Tynan: Hi Norma,
Yep I do but I carn't quite remember where, was it near the chippy opposite Bobs Lane?
By the way, that last picture is of Cadishead band.
Cheers
Rob
Rob pce is a bird.: What does KTA stand for? Norma Bannon (nee Bolton): Gary - It seems every other person on this site now lives in Melbourne (apart from Cyril, of course). I'm sure if we all got together, we would have a bigger party than those still in Irlam/Cadishead.
Sue - I'm guessing from the fashion and hairstyles, your pics are early... AGEONER: ah man, i laughed hard at the caption to the urine bottle photos. From Los Angeles, thanks for the pics. Jose Julio: This is great... trains look better now...lol...hey guys, i met someone in my place in hollywood (Maffu Arts) he give me the site (Bel I Of Crew), but u are really serious in what you do...I hope to see you again,, and this is great... thank for give me the... EvilGentleman: Beatiful set of photos. You really captured the emotions of the rallies. I especially like the irony of the girl wearing a mask that says, "NO CNN", but a baseball cap that says, "American Blue & Fitch". EvilGentleman: Actually, I cannot place it. But the description you gave tells me I have must have overlooked this one. Maybe it's along one of those stretches of the bike trail where I tend to ride fast. Gotta be careful now, too. The cops have scooters to catch speeders on the... Sue taylor (nee O'Reilly): Hi everyone,
Here are some photos of Irlam, taken some years ago; one is of myself and a friend as young girls on my father's allotment behind Tramway Road. I think that is Carrington Power Station in the background. Perhaps someone out there can confirm that. Other pictures show St. Teresa's... Brian_USA: Does anyone have any memories of the Spar store on Lord Street, or the Vivo on Fir Street?
Brian (Lived in Cadishead 1974 - 1980, now in USA) joey: spring is sprining? but still not sprung - it's almost may . . . elaine: all my enemies are, by definition, terrorists. but now i am a buddhist i can smite them with my big buddha sword.
;-) Montrealbunny: This is along the canal going west past the market and the train tracks. Here's a shot from a bit further back - I bet you'll recognize it in an instant by the tip of the pergola in the corner!
jeeff: jack, conflating all your enemies as "terrorists" is ridiculous and ruins your otherwise interesting account. jack: it was better when good humor pedaled his way around the streets and rang his bells. jack: i was in berlin in 1961, there was a young man hanging dead on barbed wire, shot while trying to escape the east, tensions were high, the russians stood looking at the americans, the german people in between, it was 16 years after the war, homes and buildings were still... EvilGentleman: I have an old pic from 1994 or 1995 posted in one of my posts in the Train Derails on Bridge series. I am currently about 305 pounds (people always guess me at about 250 or 260), 5 foot 10 (I lost an inch due to a missing spinal disc),... EvilGentleman: Hmmm, where is this building? Looks interesting... sdbrown: Montrealbunny: I was back down there today but decided to walk west (away from the city) rather than east. I saw several gentlemen with cameras along the way and must admit (blush) that I wondered if any of them were you or EG!
Please do post your pictures if... CE: This isn't far from my house. EG is right, the sunsets down here can be beautiful. I have some pictures that I should post sometime. Previous Day :: Next Day |
