The Face N:
massive banksy piece Catherine Penfold-Waxman: ooooh this is nice. kat: AHHHHH!!! SCIENCE FAIR MEMORIES! Except this of course, is not science fair. Nerds united! By the way, that last invention seems to be a long bungee cord attached to a duct-tape covered wing. Perhaps they are trying to fly. Biff: Trans Box Couriers. Great sign. Now I now what TBS actually stands for. ea: ha! nooo...
"something which has it's own aesthetic value (especially something which is a living thing) should be left to stand on it's own without intervention"
so I was asking, does this mean skin too?
I certainly think skin has enough inherrant beauty all empty, but then again, the past few days I've... skullspine: any1 into action movies av 2 watch DISTRICT 13. it icludes parkour and its bloomin amazin! MUST BE WATCHED BY ALL. jack: i once invented the endless roll of toilet paper but it ended all too soon. jack: is that mick jagger jack: oh my gosh, its my shoe. jack: soon to come, the third hand....... jack: how about this....her hand is close to mine. i've waited three days to be near her and now her hand is next to mine. what should i say? she is so beautiful, maybe she'll laugh me off or just turn away, then what? i'm lost forever,... jack: confoundit elaine, you beat me to the best quip again. you and catherine are making the best liners. drea: man...must be nice to sleep after looking at that view..very nice B&W. I see this outside my bedroom window.
elaine: handy. Peter: a classic 1971 p-1800 volvo coupe spotted in prospect heights, brooklyn:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo_P1800 jeeff: sure - www.modernhistory.org/temp/11118_big.jpg elaine: i have told a kid off for kicking a tree before now. i said 'how would you like it if someone did that to you?'
he looked at me like i was mental, but did stop. ian:
Another house in Houston. :) Get out of your car, buddy: All true, and healthy if we are able to maintain a stable supply of low income housing in each neighbourhood. Toronto is quite good at creating neighbourhoods that give people choices based on their income. This is good because it creates a core group of people who have... EvilGentleman: Something about Chinatown neighbourhoods and graf trux. That is where I seem to find them in Montreal, too Giada...: How the hell do they get those lines so perfect???? hwta pens do they use does any1 know??? EvilGentleman: Happy 500th, Peter! (Not counting the ones that may have been lost in the crash) Michelle: great pictures! Fun to see young minds at work. I wish I'd known that this was on, I would have dropped in to see too... groovehouse: Jamie... I agree about historic buildings. My office-mate went on a trip to Italy last year and couldn't get over how much graffiti was scribbled on the historic buildings he visited. Earth Day At Humboldt Park: RESTORE. Work first, then enjoy hands-on nature crafts and live music at the HUMBOLDT PARK EARTH DAY CLEAN UP AND CELEBRATION. The community effort is in honor of the 36th annual Earth Day. Volunteers should meet at the Humboldt Park Boathouse and bring lots of elbow grease. April 22, 9:00... Peter: jamie: im with you on that. coincidentally, i just now posted Sup, Tree? before finding this thread... interesting.
ea: tattoos? what youre saying would be tantamount to someone coming up and tattooing their name on your body without your permission, heh. i mean, obviously trees and bamboo arent sentient in that... ea: how bout tatoos? course trees dont mark themselves... Richard Hare: Ooops...just discovered one of my relatives ruined it (burned it down in 1803 with his mother inside). NY, USA elaine: are those magnolias? i love the smell of them. Jamie: I'm not sure how i feel about people tagging trees/bamboo etc. something which has it's own aesthetic value (especially something which is a living thing) should be left to stand on it's own without intervention. I feel much the same way about historic buildings. Editor: Other thing to note that images over 600 pixels tend to push the site layout off the visible screen for people running lower screen resolutions. Also a good way of linking a series of posts is using tags. Instead of (or as well as) tagging them say graffiti or montreal... grant Harding: haha. there's a jungle gym type of thing on top of a building on 2nd ave at 79th st, I think. Jo: He's awesome - you stand in awe. He defies physics, he opens a window through the Matrix. I've seen him as other characters too: extreme rhythm and wit.
