Peter: as of last month, nyc reenstated its recycling program- which it had abandoned for a year due to the fiscal situation here... its nice to throw out several pounds less of trash every time i take out the garbage. wonder which is worse, garbage-wise... america or canada?

bob 765: we need to work harder on keeping recycled goods out of our trash.this is the reason canada has so much garbage we just seem to throw every thing away.
