Previous Day :: Next DayJamie: Where is Halifax? Jamie: What a great read. I love how you describe your neighbourhood in such vivid detail. I hope you'll write more, and get well soon x elaine: oooh, another photo of heaven, lovely. must remember to become a believer. Imagine if there really was a heaven and it was like this? elaine: I structured this as a day trip to and from London. The photos are all pre-digital and scanned in and not altered. Pic 1 is from my then bedroom in London, 2 is yes, a weird bulldozer thing - they have to tidy the pebbles on the beach, I love... elaine: I like it when digital creates dirt - it is not always crisp Peter: this is a very creepy photo. t@gger: then get a can of spraypaint, dude, and add a splash of color to denver! then take photos and post em here. nate: nice post-all that I get to see in Denver are sharpie tags on stop signs Peter: then by all means, fuck the "graf lorries", lets see some trains! hasslehoff: i love the subject of graf trux, and it's totally taken over the site. it's something you just don't see in the uk, and i don't know why. we have so much talent, but none seems to make it's way onto trucks. trains are another matter. Editor: more here ---> GRAF TRUX Editor: more here ----> GRAF TRUX Editor:: more GRAF TRUX Peter: i love that the first truck there has a parking ticket... R D : Re: Falls Road
You know, although I have Irish family (and I don't mean like great- great grandparents) I don't think I'm biased, but really here in England at least (as opposed to Scotland) the vast majority of public opinion and all the people I know are for a United Ireland... translation: The wall in that first photo is the title of the article btw. This is some crazy graf, so vibrant and vivid. very fresh val kilmer: interesting stuff. i like to get up my tag all over town these days. it all went downhill after batman you see. life's hard for a washed up has-been. taggin's one of the few things i have left to keep my saddened soul from imploding upon itself. hasslehoff: crazy perspective on photo two! Editor: More Graf Trux Peter: that second one looks like a roy lichtenstein painting :) hasslehoff: volvos rule Peter: theyre quite adept at stealing stereos fro mcars, also... which jsut happened to me recently. why someone would want a 15 year old stock volvo stereo (that wont even work outside of hte car it was installed in) is beyond me. methinks they sure like their crack. flashback!: "...im pushing the button..." Peter: that bulldozer sure looks foreboding... i love the last two, where the buildings look like theyre falling over. speaking of falling over, whats going on in the photo of that collapsed structure on the pier? sysadmin: did you know if you do this... [2 sqaure brackets] then [article number] then [colon] then 'day trip' then [2 square brackets] it turns into this 'day trip' groovy huh? elaine: filming is different, i think it makes their eyes go all dollar signs elaine: have posted a brighton page; 'day trip'. sysadmin: yes, things will even out soon. A few spurious comments are creeping into new posts at the moment as fill the spaces left by the lost ones. Lookin forward to seeing more of your photography, and reading more of your writing elaine. hasslehoff: bring on the stuff baby elaine: yeah, but you know, this is a seafront property in the centre of town, and you don't have to look at it while you're in it. I don't think I've seen any of the flats look empty. elaine: oooh shame, all the pain and none of the reward. Damn, that's hard
elaine: so remember, don't not walk, and only push the button if you have small feet and no eyes Editor: elaine: please repost eye of the storm and stop hex as they were lost in the recent balls up here. they were two of my favourite articles of late. that skeletal effigy in the window rocked. Jamie: It would be if they had bothered to build a store too. Alas it is merely a distribution centre, and we must still travel as far as fine nottinghamshire to partake in frenzied ikeamania. All the muss and fuss with nothing to show for it. Except a few thousand jobs... mc shawaddywaddy: urban decay. deep seated urban decay. people live in these? i would not care to live here. elaine: that will be good for 'the many' while they queue in the traffic waiting to get there, it must calm their nerves, as they itch to part with their money for the furnitures in commune with 'the co-workers'. It is a utopian dream come true, isn't it? Just what Walter... hasslehoff: You'll never see a barefoot homeless person in Brooklyn. They're quite adept at climbing poles i wager.
