So, I woke up this morning, looking out my window thinking it was going to rain because the sky was so grey.... Then I turned on the TV to check the weather and the local news reported a fire at a wharehouse in Greenpoint. (It's really, very technically Williamsburg, the Northside to be precise!) I only live a few blocks from where the fire is and this is what I saw when I stepped out the door a few hours ago.

As I was aimlessly wandering the streets today, I saw another banana peel that had been disgarded on one of those mysterious grey boxes near the side of the road. Electrical wires in there for sure. Any one know why? But...
