The building I work in is 50 yards from the bridge. I look at it everyday, I drive over 2 or 3 times a week. Two of my co-workers were here when it happened (one was on CNN helping kids out of the school bus on the bridge.) All we can say is HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! Nothing you haven't seen on CNN or the web but it's right next to me here so it's pretty freaky. Guess I'll be posting the multi-year clean up and reconstruction pics too.

So you've just passed hours of scenic beauty rolling along on the (American) North Shore of Lake Superior along Highway 61. and you see a big steam cloud up ahead. and here it is right up on the edge of the lake, this big taconite pellet facility. NICE!! Silver Bay grapples with air quality rule www.startribune.com/462/story/1132818.html Huh?!? I wonder why??

Spent a night downtown in a hotel so I had some cool shots out the 20 story window. The whole wall that I took a small slice of for Really Big Music Sunset on buildings A building on top of a building Went for a walk before dinner. Lots of nice reflections going on. U.S. Bank Tower (I think that's who's name is still on it.) and the moon. My ex-wife worked on this building. She got to go up to the top before the curtain wall (outside glass and concrete) were put up and the only thing keeping you from oblivion was a cable...
