Just north of downtown, about 2 blocks from the new Twins Stadium a newly built condo complex with a cool name. The sun this time of the year is so low that starting about 3 p.m. you get the best long shadows on almost anything.

This little Church in downtown Minneapolis used to be hard up against this crappy sixties built hotel that's been empty for years. (it still shows up in Google Street View even though it's been gone almost a year) maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=44.9 . . . 963,,0,-5.957178841309808 Well they tore it down and what should appear but this. Hopefully whatever replaces that hotel thing will give the little church some space.

New 35W Bridge Before Dawn

So they have these cool (both in color and looking) blue lights on the new bridge. They say they're temporary (not sure why) but they're saying they'll keep them blue if there's enough public support (not sure how you're supposed to tell them though.) Took this shot with the fisheye on my way into work one morning.
