As per insider's tip American Littoral Society www.alsnyc.org/ is hosting another cleanup event citynoise.org/article/1418#78768 at the Plum Beach Sunday, July 26, 2009 9AM. It was promised that besides you and me there will be another group of 100 students picking garbage so be ready to fight for the leftovers ;-)
Unfortunately there are no CSOs to geotag except for the abandoned and soiled pipe at the beginning of the beach.
Stay tuned. Be involved. Get dirty ;-) author: Sanzay : Brooklyn, NY
Does the Bloomberg's anoouncement www.nyc.gov/html/om/html/2009b/pr335-09.html mean "goodbuy" to abandoned waterfront places? No more rust to snap pics of? Or it is just another blue dream from the blue room? author: Sanzay : Brooklyn, NY

While eating pizza at Brooklyn Public Library cafe I suddenly discovered a baked-in noose. Now I know what to do they call a surprise pizza!

What's a wonderful gym is it? People are quitting crutches in a matter of one session! Personnel just keep picking abandoned prosthetics ;-)
