Walking east on Central Park South, I passed the block where the Handsome Cabs wait to take people on carriage rides around Central Park. To my (and many other passersby) surprise, there was a pink-and-black bikini-clad, high-heeled person lounging in the back of one of the cabs, apparently unaware/undaunted by the now-growing crowd of onlookers.
Strangely enough, there seemed to be no cause or reason for this event... it was as if someone decided, on the spur of the moment, to just go for a carriage ride, wearing this particular getup.
Then I spotted this fellow. If memory serves me correctly, he...

Thar she blows! Spotted in Soho, NYC... the king of the Graf Trux, sporting GEN2 and OZE108...
UFO face on the truck's front... the latest blockbuster from the Grunts... the attention to detail, as well as the fact that the windows/grills/lights were cleanly avoided (as if masked off?) lead me to think this is most likely a commissioned/legal truck.
More UFO...
Another truck I was happy to see in person, as I'd bookmarked it online in the past, because I thought it was dope... www.tenementcity.com/photos/transgraff/02.html
The above trucks make ones like this look laughable. I can't wait to see what goes up over this...

I passed this rather old Neckface piece in Soho this weekend... if made me think... "...where's Peter Caine when you really need him?"

As you probably know, I'm a bit of a scooter nut, so while out for a walk in Prospect Heights, I was surprised to find something a tad different from the usual Vespas and Lambrettas. This one is a Bajaj, and their website explains that they are an "India-based manufacturer of motorcycles and Vespa-style scooters".
So, I took a look, and of course, snapped some cameraphone pics, as I had never seen one of these sorts of Scooters before:
It seems to be a rather powerful two-stroke engine on a apparently low-quality plastic/metal hybrid body. Check out that silver plastic hub-cap on...

To some, its a paste-up advert for Entourage (TV series), for others... its a reminder to go home and pop some ecstasy.

Some of you New Yorkers out there may have seen this HSBC advert on a subway car, which I snapped these lo-fi cameraphone shots with. If you haven't, it has several rows/columns of small photos bearing different people's photos and their answer to the question "New York Is...?"
Though this ad campaign seems to be a vague (if not rather inneffective, from a commercial standpoint) effort to show how openminded, diverse and universal HSBC is as "the world's bank", I find it interesting that someone has apparently been going around circling some of the more derogatory epithets within the ads...
