There seems to be a glut of upscale, boring hang outs all of this great city. Used to be you could walk into a obscure little place in the east village, or Williamsburg , or Nolita .. But Queens ??? Now, at the corner of 24th St. & Ditmars is this little ( tiny ) wine /coffee joint. There seems to be a variety of stuff happening there, but what really nice, is you can hang. The music is a sick mixture of classical, jazz, pop, rock, all kinds of stuff. The little open mic night is really warm , freindly and hip they have a Steinway Baby...
