Most of these were taken last spring. I thought it would be nice to see some images of warmth on an ice cold day like today. The Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower, at 700 feet, was the tallest building in the world from 1909-1913. It is not, however, out of reach of this tree. Left to right: The New York Life Building, the Merchandise Mart Building (not better than Chicago's!), no idea on the little guy, the Metropolitan Life North Building, and the Tower once again. Then again, I'm sure we're not far off from this...

My trip to Cleveland was, sadly, too short, but in the brief time I was there I learned that it is a heartwarming city, and very endearing to the people who live there. It...

The River and The Lake

My series on Cleveland drawing near to a close, I turn my attention to the two prominent bodies of water that are inseparablye linked to the city. these piers are up near Edgewater Park, I believe, across from some gaudy mansions that some have dubbed Cleveland's "Atrocity Exhibition" essential Cleveland. its four tallest buildings. Jacobs field. and if you look closely, the wall with all the graffiti featured in my previous post - the yellow elephant and the giant "Arpe Ridl Ariz" being its most distinguishable features. a gate to nowhere?

The artist and his work. Wall. A huge Droids tag by the Rapid tracks in this post. Letters probably 8-10 feet tall.
