the old men playing their favorite game in the park on cropsey avenue. you can go there with a bottle of wine, some italian semolina bread and a chunk of provolone cheese and sit under the sycamore trees and enjoy the antics and humor of these guys in their quest to get near the balline. (thats the small ball used in bocce)

the sun went down one minute earlier than the night before and we sat on the great lawns looking up at heaven and amazed by the display of stars and the shooting stars and the satellites.

this is it, the best spumoni in the world. and i mean it. i have been coming to this place since i was born. we used to walk there on sunday afternoons for a spumoni and walk home licking the delicious spumoni before it dripped unto your hands. it always did. there was italian music playing and people eating pizza with side of italian sweet sausage. you see, italians never put sausage on the pizza, they ate it off a fork and then would have a bite of pizza. the sauce for their pizza...
