some shots around town in october, i shot them thru the front windshield as i was driving but you didn't hear it from me because it could be held against me in a court of law, because i would have to testify against myself as a hostile witness, i mean listen kids, don't drive and snap pictures, what the hell is wrong with you. if you are driving then keep your hands on the steering wheel get into the back seat and with the other two hands take pictures.

in this great little restaurant, it has the word olive in it's name, just off the park at NYU, you can write and scribble on the slate tables, so we brought our godchild there for her birthday, a brilliant, talented, and beautiful young lady interested in a stage career
and i noticed that the T wasn't crossed, rather sloppy spelling but really great penmanship if i say so myself, and a little ruckus began outside on the street when a women came running in and calling for a doctor or emt, seems a man passed out on the street and was...

at the right side of this pic is where the bodies of the victims of the triangle shirtwaist factory were piled up on each other.
at this spot the police and onlookers watched in horror as the young women jumped to their deaths across the street.
i can't believe i'm standing in this place of disaster and now 95 years later there is joviality, food, drink and people laughing and moving about and it seems that i'm the only one thinking about the fire, or am i.
children, 5 generations later are playing in the cool evening of the...

as a young boy i read a book about the fire and saw pictures of the people who worked in that factory, in particular there was a picture of a young immigrant irish girl, beautiful face and smile taken in the factory before the fire and then again of her body in the morgue, i was saddened by the story and every time i passed this building i think about her.

just crusing down broadway to go to the olive tree in nyu's campus, looking for a parking spot in all the wrong places, or is that looking for love, well i'm not looking, my love was with me and we got a freebie parking spot off 12th street.
soooo many people last saturday evening, everyone walking quickly to meet friends, everyone seems happy, everyone is.
i'll never forget my first corned beef on rye, or my second fresh ham on a roll at katz's, that was 1964 and it cost like a buck twenty-five and it was humongous and i sat there...
