last wednesday night was a particularly creepy night. i was annoyed that it was foggy because i had been promised a pretty spectacular geminid meteor shower. the fog came back on thursday night as well so i'll have to wait for the geminids, but january 4 should bring the quadrantid meteor shower. here's hoping.
in any case, i found myself near a graveyard and a playground (the brilliance of long island town planning!) and here are some shots i took.

sunday afternoon at pitchfork. both days found union park filled with people, but the park was really buzzing on sunday. it was really the perfect location for the festival, framed by the sears tower to the north and a fantastic old church to the south.
