An annual event held on the weekend closest to July 11 each year, the Pow-Wow was first held in 1991, as a means of beginning the healing process after the Oka Crisis of 1990. Two nights ago, I was driving with my wife on Sainte-Catherine Street near Berri, when we saw a man running with a bag dodging between cars stopped in traffic. He tried hiding by crouching low behind the car in front of us, then dashing into the doorway of a store next to us. I took this picture of him as he rummaged through the bag, looking for valuables.
