I have no clue why I wanted to take this shot, but I'm glad I did. I like it.
What I find neat here is the cattle horns in the window above the McDonald's sign.

July 9, 2006. The temperature was 29 degrees celsius (85 degrees fahrenheit) The weather was sunny with some clouds. The 16th annual Echoes of a Proud Nation Pow-Wow was underway. An annual event held on the weekend closest to July 11 each year, the Pow-Wow was first held in 1991, as a means of beginning the healing process after the Oka Crisis of 1990.
For some reason, I am reminded of Monty Python's "Spam" skit.
I wonder if they also serve "Scone, scone, scone, egg and scone"?

Two nights ago, I was driving with my wife on Sainte-Catherine Street near Berri, when we saw a man running with a bag dodging between cars stopped in traffic. He tried hiding by crouching low behind the car in front of us, then dashing into the doorway of a store next to us. I took this picture of him as he rummaged through the bag, looking for valuables. From the reaction to my Private Bus Stop Across From Sex Shop article, I realized I had better post some decent pictures of the sex shop itself. Here you go.
As you walk west on Sainte-Catherine Street, the red neon storefront of Sexe Cite is hard to miss. Open 7 days a week till midnight, this is one of the better known of Montreal's countless sex shops.
A closeup of the mannequin display in the window reveals a surprising accessory: garden hoses?
A peek in the front door reveals a wide variety of products for sale.
The store as seen when passing by.
