Just some plain old garbage I saw overflowing out of the garbage can and onto the sidewalk on Atwater Street in front of the Lionel-Groulx Metro station while I was waiting for the 211 bus.
The fact that this can happen is a normal fact of life, but when I really think about it, why? Really, think about it! Are the city workers or garbagemen inefficient? Are there too few garbage cans for such a high-traffic area? Are people just plain old slobs? What are your opinions? Let's hear from you.

I think we have all made lasting impressions at one time or another. But on Saint-Catherine Street by Peel Metro, in the heart of downtown Montreal? Many famous people may have walked these streets, but they seldom get to be part of the streets, unlike the anonymous person here, who has trumped them all... for now. We have some stars on the sidewalk in front of the old Forum, but maybe we need a walk of fame with handprints, etc...

Sometimes, maybe it is better to say nothing at all. But it does look as if the birds feel the same way.

I have been trying so hard to identify these cars, why spoil the fun for the rest of you? You tell me what these classic cars are. There must be some enthusiasts out there who will enjoy doing this.
I just had to toss in a photo of this custom Chevy tailpipe from the car above.

 1957 Pontiac Star Chief 2-door
I looked and looked, but could not find any others with the rubber nose cones. I can only assume they are either an option or an after-market mod.
Quite the intricate work on the hood ornament.
Chrome, chrome, glorious chrome.
I love these tail lights.
Nothing says 1957 more than tail fins.

Hmmm, the wind chill ouside right now is -30... OK, that's it! I've had enough of this damned winter crap!
Let me bring you back in time... way back... to July 1st, 2006. The sun is shining, the temperature is 27C (80F), and there are many things more fun to do than look outside at people running away from the cold.
I have taken my family to the Six Flags La Ronde amusement park to enjoy a beautiful Canada Day holiday. While my son and his friends continuously wait in line, then ride the roller coasters over and over again, my wife...

Took a lot of research to identify this one...
1952 Nash Ambassador Super four-door sedan
The covered wheels and extended rear bumper are quite unique.
This is what had me confused for a while. As near as I can figure, this hood ornament is from a 1955 Nash.
The front turn signals are also a unique identifying characteristic.
A closeup of the grill.
