City of Westmount, about 150 feet or so from the border of Montreal's Saint-Henri district.
While making my way through the muddy and icy (at least it was a few weeks ago) interior of the abandoned Babcock & Wilcox boiler factory, I encountered this:
Graf... ON ICE!!!
Still seemed pretty fresh, too.

We walk into the Babcock & Wilcox abandoned boiler plant, located on the border of the City of Westmount and the Saint-Henri district of Montreal's Sud-Ouest borough.
CRIME
An abandoned car rots along the Saint-Henri side of the building
Pillars...
This car has seen better days...
An old spray can
A Google Earth shot of the area. The blue line is the Westmount/Saint-Henri border. Westmount is to the N.
The red X marks the central section of the factory.

Nestled under the Ville Marie Expressway, on the border of the City of Westmount and the Saint-Henri district of the Sud-Ouest borough of Montreal, lies the abandoned Babcock & Wilcox boiler factory.
A view through the fence by the old front gate facing Richelieu Street
The land in front of the factory has a new condo development in front of it. A possible sign of the future of the factory site?
Some of the graffiti that coats the building
The south wall, looking to the east
Just before entering the factory, I take a shot of the clotheslines strung across the backyards of the condo...

After a loooong hiatus, I am continuing to post pictures taken during the 2008 Heavy MTL festival.
Priestess is a local band from Montreal that has been quickly gaining popularity since their founding in 2003, especially overseas.
They took the stage at Heavy MTL on the afternoon of Sunday, June 22, 2008. Their set was short but energetic, and nowhere near as long as what a band of their caliber deserved.
I was reminded to post these pics when I started chatting with Charles, who was tending bar at my favourite dive last weekend, and when the conversation moved around to music, it...

In response to Peter's question in his XXX HOT!!! post, this is my favourite hot sauce at the moment.
It may also help in replacing the horny Saudi search hits with more hits from horny denizens of English-speaking countries.

Taken on Richelieu near du College, same building as this.

I have seen a number of these scooter-head paste-ups around Montreal in the last year or so. It would appear the marker-bearing self-appointed art critics have come out to play as well.
Bilingual scathing criticism of a paste-up... Only in Montreal.
Excellent production and execution. But overall way too fucking Prada Meinhoffish!
Somehow, the criticm of this one seems a bit less educated in tone.

Taken on Richelieu, near the corner of du College in the Saint-Henri disrict of the Sud-ouest borough.
