 i took these on my NY trip, whenever that was, for my friend grace who has them on her wall now. when i was visiting her in brighton i saw them and was admiring them... before i remembered i had taken them - how twistedly egotistical and narsissistic am i?

 i love the word cleave. it's a double entendre, you know. it has two meanings which are the opposite of each other, it cam mean cut in two, or join up. this tree looks like it is two trees smooching, but it is just one looking like two
