South Town

South Town is the area of the city around 11th & South Grand. It used to be a bustling little area a long time ago from what I've heard and read but is a pretty depressed area now, and has been for a while. I lived about 8 blocks from here until I was 6 years old (I'm only 19 now). In my early teens me and friends spent a lot of time at Skank Skates skateboarding. Across the street was the Bourbon Street bar, on the opposite corner was a motorcycle club/gang which has since moved and a few...


A Fine Spring Evening

Monday was one of the best evenings so far this year, cool with a breeze and clear out. Wished I didn't have night classes sometimes. When I was leaving I saw a guy out riding his bike, I was actually jealous as I climbed into my car. Took this picture out of my car window at a stoplight, I thought the blue early-evening sky complimented the lit up downtown. Would have been a little cooler if that other car hadn't pulled up as I took the picture, at least I got a suspicious look from him :)

Colorful . This is the first time I've tried blurred motion pictures with my camera. Definitly a challenge to hold steady without a tripod to keep from blurring everything.
