There were 6 of these barns in a row, but the trail was really overgrown, and finally couldn't get back in any further.
These places used a lot of natural gas to help dry the tobacco, and had a whole system of grills placed around the interior.

First, read this...
This past weekend, Cartlegger and I happened across a rather rare (at least to me) sight...
the NYC DOT had the Grand Street Bridge wide open for repairs
There was even a work-crew and a DOT vehicle out on the open swing span
The workers, though a bit weirded out that I was walking around snapping photos, seemed pretty nice
and let us walk around the work site
One worker made us let him take a photo of us, then cracked a few jokes. I think he had had a few with lunch.

Look what I found Sunday... A great old country log cabin.
Not what you'd normally find in a country living room.
Stevens' Tombstone... Check out the spelling, they tried kinda hard to get it right, and this was on Stephens' Sand road anyway.
