I took this photo in the late 1980s from the walkway on the Williamsburg Bridge with my full manual Pentax K1000 35mm. I remember when I took it it was cold and I don't think that I saw anyone else up there. Even from that distance the WTC looked huge and at that time there were not as many tall buildings around it. I never imagined that about a dozen years later I would be digging on a pile that was only a few stories high of what was left of these buildings.
