Cream - HKI FIN: I'll post more pics later...

Peter: 23rd Oct 2009 - 13:22 GMT

wow, NICE. definitely has its own style, you can definitely tell it apart from, say, nyc graf...

I'm loving these and definitely hope you post more :)

Cream - HKI FIN: 23rd Oct 2009 - 13:49 GMT

I agree with you that when it comes to styles Montreal is far from NY reminding me more of european style.

nosmo: 23rd Oct 2009 - 14:23 GMT

One of the many things I adore about Montreal! Foufones Electriques makes yet another Citynoise appearance! :)

Cream - HKI FIN: 23rd Oct 2009 - 14:28 GMT

The left one here makes an exception though having nothing but NYC written all over it...

I really must start posting more often. I see a lot of the stuff from the area near the sites, as well as some stuff rom the area. The one with is facing the parking lot of Wendy's on , just north of , in the district.

I actually have had a lot of these in my pending folders for quite some time, but yours are so much crisper! Nice job.

I'm curious if you have any shots of the alleys behind Decarie in Snowdon, just south of Queen Mary. I saw some awesome stuff there, as well.

Cream - HKI: 23rd Oct 2009 - 19:38 GMT

Dude, Im staying at Queen Mary. 4 blocks from decarie. You mean the alleys right in front of Metro Snowdon?

Peter: 23rd Oct 2009 - 19:48 GMT

yes, EG, lets see more. you always post such good stuff :)

EvilGentleman: 23rd Oct 2009 - 20:07 GMT

Actually, I have a bunch from the alleys behind the Bucarest restaurant, a few blocks south of Queen Mary on Decarie. Let me get my fill of nicotine and I'll get busy tossing some on.

Cream - HKI: 23rd Oct 2009 - 21:00 GMT

From all of the above, stylewise, (zeko, shok and scan know how to work their caps fo sure) SEA2 and especially SEW impressed me (LT27/NMT co-mural). Ive been trying to find more of their work without any succes. They are older cats not too active anymore or not even from Montreal?

EvilGentleman: 24th Oct 2009 - 01:05 GMT

It took me a while to unearth my old photos. I took a lot of walks around the city this summer, and took pictures along the way. Finally found my photos by doing a full-scale search for "CIMG". I don't ever recall using the useless Windows "My Pictures" folder, but ooh boy, the pics I found. It may take me a while to get it all on, but I'll have a go at getting more active now, especially since the weather has turned to shit, and I have nothing better to do.

The stencil you posted above, back when it was still fresh, in July 2007

Hmmm, if you have been prowling the back alleys of , I wonder if we have bumped into one another yet? I see a few other shots from as well.

Cream - HKI FIN: 25th Nov 2009 - 11:36 GMT

NICE! These are prime examples when graffiti is refined from its original raw form. Pure eye candy!

EvilGentleman: 26th Nov 2009 - 04:56 GMT

Wow! The shots from Ville-Emard, I never saw before. Amazing I never saw it before. Great find!

Pukin' Buzzard: 18th Jan 2010 - 06:05 GMT

The whole fucking show should be entitled "eye sore"!

gZus: meeting of styles is sick, in ville emard

Andreas - Sweden: 24th May 2010 - 22:22 GMT

Great stuff most of it! Amazing even.. many have the same style I noticed that too..

So would you say that the main part of these graffiti-walls have been a ordered job, or some "bombing" the places with their stuff witout permission? I sure like most of the art, but it's one thing decorating dull concrete walls under a bridge but another thing painting on peoples homes and doors that stuff isn't nice.. But when u've made big crazy pieces of art (like most of these examples abow are) like that u prolly must have had the time, and freedom to create from the property owners..
