Peter: 23rd Oct 2009 - 13:22 GMTwow, NICE. montreal definitely has its own style, you can definitely tell it apart from, say, nyc graf... I'm loving these and definitely hope you post more :) Cream - HKI FIN: 23rd Oct 2009 - 13:49 GMTI agree with you that when it comes to styles Montreal is far from NY reminding me more of european style. nosmo: 23rd Oct 2009 - 14:23 GMTOne of the many things I adore about Montreal! Foufones Electriques makes yet another Citynoise appearance! :) Cream - HKI FIN: 23rd Oct 2009 - 14:28 GMTThe left one here makes an exception though having nothing but NYC written all over it...
You gotta luv Mr Blob and Mrs Boom...
I like what Nixon is doing here... "2007" :]
Cream - HKI FIN: 23rd Oct 2009 - 14:40 GMTOh yeah? ;] I uploaded more pics to the " boiler plant" articles if yall are intersted. Cream - HKI: 23rd Oct 2009 - 19:11 GMTHeres some more pics portraying a some what different view. I wanted to capture the filth and dirt of the alley's. These are taking mainly from downtown area with my Nokia N90 mobile.
EvilGentleman: 23rd Oct 2009 - 19:27 GMTI really must start posting more often. I see a lot of the stuff from the Saint-Laurent Boulevard area near the Under Pressure sites, as well as some stuff rom the Plateau Mont Royal area. The one with Dora the Explorer is facing the parking lot of Wendy's on Decarie, just north of Queen Mary, in the Snowdon district. I actually have had a lot of these in my pending folders for quite some time, but yours are so much crisper! Nice job. I'm curious if you have any shots of the alleys behind Decarie in Snowdon, just south of Queen Mary. I saw some awesome stuff there, as well. Cream - HKI: 23rd Oct 2009 - 19:38 GMTDude, Im staying at Queen Mary. 4 blocks from decarie. You mean the alleys right in front of Metro Snowdon? EvilGentleman: 23rd Oct 2009 - 20:07 GMTActually, I have a bunch from the alleys behind the Bucarest restaurant, a few blocks south of Queen Mary on Decarie. Let me get my fill of nicotine and I'll get busy tossing some on. Cream - HKI: 23rd Oct 2009 - 21:00 GMTFrom all of the above, stylewise, (zeko, shok and scan know how to work their caps fo sure) SEA2 and especially SEW impressed me (LT27/NMT co-mural). Ive been trying to find more of their work without any succes. They are older cats not too active anymore or not even from Montreal? EvilGentleman: 24th Oct 2009 - 01:05 GMTIt took me a while to unearth my old photos. I took a lot of walks around the city this summer, and took pictures along the way. Finally found my photos by doing a full-scale search for "CIMG". I don't ever recall using the useless Windows "My Pictures" folder, but ooh boy, the pics I found. It may take me a while to get it all on, but I'll have a go at getting more active now, especially since the weather has turned to shit, and I have nothing better to do. EvilGentleman: 24th Oct 2009 - 02:39 GMT
The stencil you posted above, back when it was still fresh, in July 2007 Hmmm, if you have been prowling the back alleys of Shaughnessy Village, I wonder if we have bumped into one another yet? I see a few other shots from Pierce Street as well. Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
