EvilGentleman: 10th Oct 2009 - 02:15 GMTHere is a translation of the menu, as seen in the second picture: Steamed Hot Dog - $0.89 EvilGentleman: 10th Oct 2009 - 02:18 GMTAlso, below the Hot Chick, it appears that Chicken Nuggets were removed from the menu. Galloping Greg: 10th Oct 2009 - 02:22 GMTI love how random the prices seem. $2.21, $4.43, $4.91, $1.64. EvilGentleman: 10th Oct 2009 - 02:39 GMTYeah, I agree, but maybe if you add the 5% GST, subtotal it and then add the 7.5% Quebec Sales Tax on top of the subtotal, it will all make sense. Gotta love Quebec and the way they charge tax on the tax. Example: Computer is $1000.00 Normal tax rate is 12.875% Galloping Greg: 10th Oct 2009 - 05:11 GMTThats crazy! But at least you guys have universal healthcare, right? EvilGentleman: 11th Oct 2009 - 02:40 GMTSort of. There's usually a wait of at least 4 to 12 hours at the hospital waiting rooms hereabouts, can't speak for the other areas of the country. And many treatments are not available under "universal" healthcare. It even costs to get a doctor's note these days.
Dan the man: 15th Oct 2009 - 20:09 GMTHOT CHICK(EN) boiled chicken between 2 slices of bread drenched in grazy, usually served with fries and green pees :D yum yum matthias jourdan: 28th Mar 2010 - 15:31 GMTThe famous Quebec cuisine, don't forget the Poutine (french fries whith cheese and meat juice), "gastronomie" in Quebec is much more american than french. Concerning the way they charge tax on the tax, it's in the blood, in France it's exactly the same. EmKaBe: 14th May 2010 - 00:02 GMTHot Chick - $5.90 Rich: 19th Apr 2011 - 23:06 GMTHahah I was around Cartier Villeray and I say a restaurant sign that said 0,69 cents Hotdogs.. made me giggle anon (214.sub-174-254-197.myvzw.com): 8th Apr 2013 - 16:55 GMTThis looks like a very good restaurant .
