Brooklynites probably see these all the time but it's a rare thing to see a Sukkot
booth upstate. I pass this one every time I go to the park...
This one used to be on the front lawn but it seems they'd planted bushes on its old spot...
Would make for an interesting thread to see other Sukkot spottings...

wow, yeah. when i lived in jersey i saw those all around the 'hood during the holiday. since i moved to north carolina, i have yet to see ONE. =P

I noticed the leaves on the tree indicate that cool weather has arrived at this location. It is my understanding they are to stay in the sukkah for 7 days to remember the flight of the Israelites flight from Egypt. I really was looking for a model of what one might look like back in the days of the Exodus when I found this picture. Modern times is here.
