Broken City Lab Walk
[previous] :: [next]Last week my boyfriend and I took part in Broken City Lab's Welcome to the Nighbourhood psychogeographical walk. Each group was given an algorithm of randomly generated tasks. Basically we had to walk in a certain direction or for a certain amount of blocks and then take a picture of specific things we had to look out for, such as a boarded up house, a house with a nice yard, two people who might be a couple, or a sculpture at the river, as seen in this picture:
"Walk to the campus or sculpture garden (whichever is closer) and take a picture of a public artwork"
"Walk south until you see a place with an well-kept flower garden, take a picture of it"
"Walk east until you see a sign in another language, take a picture of it"
