Polaroid Art Pix
[previous] :: [next]Some time before the turn of the century I managed to get hold of a sweet Polaroid 100 outfit...
Found a photo shop downtown that still sold pack film and the battery needed for this camera...
My first effort fubared badly but the results were kinda neat...
second try wasn't so bad...
Chemtrails - this was very slow film...
Artsey ventilator shot...
First try at a time exposure shot by holding shutter down and keeping finger over the exposure eyelet
Getting better at it...
A final shot... you can make out the ghost of our tree This article has been viewed 9357 times in the last 6 months eyeofodin: 16th Sep 2009 - 06:39 GMTVery cool pics! I have the same camera sitting on a shelf that I bought a few years back in Arizona. I have yet to find film for it, but laziness is my best excuse. These pics give me some inspiration to buy some and try and the camera though! cheers. Franny Wentzel: 16th Sep 2009 - 10:27 GMTDon't know if anyone is making pack film anymore - Polaroid quit the business a year or two ago - but you'll also need to find the battery for this camera as the shutter/aperature won't open without it. Peter: 16th Sep 2009 - 13:46 GMTthese have settings for 75, 150, 300, and 3000 asa, right? fuji makes a lot of pack film these days... you should be able to find one close enough to one of those values to be correctable through over/under exposure. (fuji pack film PX19 batteries i love old polaroids! i generally rock a colorpack IV
Franny Wentzel: 16th Sep 2009 - 16:00 GMTMight've had or had use of that model back in the day... Amazon has Fuji pack film... Franny Wentzel: 14th Nov 2009 - 02:09 GMTFound my Colorpack IV!
Also got hold of this Keystone/Berkey camera...
Pretty sweet. Maybe next time I'm in The City I'll splurge and get hold of some pack film... Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
