The Chattanooga Bank Building on 8th Street and Market Street in downtown Chattanooga has recently been purchased for redevelopment. The tenants of this building in recent years has been primarily artists, including myself. The rent was inexpensive and the building was populated by very creative and inspiring people and their projects. Everyone must vacate by Saturday, August 15. I creative work is documentary photography. I share a few recent images here of the two old bank vaults deep inside this National Register property.

the bank building here is to become a Crowne Plaza Hotel.

the painted cut out lower window dressings were done a decade ago by an artist who had been in the building nearly 20 years. She has just moved out this month.

my studio was / is on this floor
