Sadly it seems this complex of buildings - Wikipedia says it was the Sao Paulo Automobile Club - seems to have been replaced with skyscrapers

wow, nice! ive never seen any of those buildings... my perception of what brasil looks like starts with brasilia at about this point in time and moves forward in a mostly modern point of view, hahaha... good job, franny. thanks for these...

Scaffolding
They've installed this construction scaffolding around the facade of a building on Washington Ave in Prospect Heights, most likely in order to keep the renovation debris from falling to the sidewalk when they're working above.
