Just a close-up detail of the "Gherkin", as you guys really seemed to like the last series of it. I love how abstract and fragmented it looks from up-close.

elaine: 22nd Apr 2005 - 18:10 GMT

looks like you went out and made a mosaic - the ultimate in labout intensive, but very permanent grafitti...

Peter: jamie, thats cool shit!

Jamie: Thanks guys

Jamie: Thanks guys

elaine: 25th Apr 2005 - 16:49 GMT

today's standard had a headline 'gherkin in a pickle' which i expect they were just busting to use. seems a window fell 40 feet out the building... teething trouble

re: the gherkin
yeh, that's pretty funky! ive never seen the gherkin up close or inside, tho i see it constnatly from my street, like in the distance.. i like buildings that you can sometimes have long-distance comfort based relationships with tho. Random

megan: dis is one amazin building!

jenny: 31st Oct 2005 - 16:03 GMT

strange name for a building, but very interesting!

alex: 10th Mar 2006 - 13:41 GMT

What? you lot are wierd.
The Swiss Re isn't "funky", its elegant with sinous and curving form that makes it iconic, and at the same time its an amazing piece of engineering.

Sophie: 26th Mar 2006 - 16:01 GMT
