Benches I Have Known and Loved

This bench is at the 106th/Central Park West entrance to Central park. It faces the avenue and bike path; a good place to sit and people-watch... dog walkers, joggers, homeless, cyclists. I made this photo with my Lomo lca back in about 2000.

This bench is at 108th/Riverside Park. When I lived on the Upper West Side, often were the days I'd go sit there and watch the river flow past, as well as to do the usual people-watching. I've probably spent 100 hours on this bench, writing in my journal, listening to music, napping.

Here is a random detail of aforementioned bench.

This is a bench downtown, in front ot 17 Water Street, in the financial district not too far from the World Trade Center site. I used to have a friend that worked in that building, and would often wait on this bench for her to get off of work.
